This car will currently not pass Maine state inspection and it must be towed off our lot. It is sold "As-Is" with no warranties, so you fix 'em up cheaper than we can, get it stickered and pay much less than retail! Welcome to Prime Motor Cars. We are a Mercedes-Benz, AMG, Sprinter, Smart and Airstream dealership located in Scarborough which is just south of Portland Maine. We are located 10 minutes from the Portland International Jetport and 95 minutes North of Boston Massachusetts. We sell a lot of new and Certified Pre-owned Mercedes-Benz which generates a lot of unique trades. We retail the newer low mileage trades and either send the rest to a dealer only auction or offer them as un-safe / as-is to the general public. Maine law allows us to sell these vehicles as un-safe as-is but they must be towed from our lot, no exceptions. Vehicle condition: In most cases all we know is the vehicle was driven into the store at the time of trade. You are welcome to come take a look at them, even bring your mechanic but since these vehicles are sold as un-safe as-is you will not be able to drive them. We have successfully been doing this for years and decided to branch out with the offering to the general public through EBay. All vehicles will be started at our cost with no reserve, which allows you to buy just like dealers at the dealer only auctions do. Why do we do this? It saves in transportation and auction fees which can be substantial. Please do not call the dealership asking about the condition of the vehicles as we don't know. Since all vehicles were driven into dealership at time of trade be assured that they ran at that point. Keep in mind that all winning bidders will be required by Maine law to tow the vehicle off our lot. They cannot be driven, no exceptions. There are no hidden fees; winning bidder pays the bid number and nothing more. Maine residents will be required to pay Maine Sales Tax which is currently 5.5%. Being a Mercedes-Benz dealer we get some crazy trades, some that have many options and some that are taken care of like no other so have fun with this and good luck on getting a great deal.
