My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 1994 Volvo 944 with just 119k miles. The 9 series was the flagship of the Volvo brand in the 90's and represented very best in safety in its day. Volvo put an incredible amount of research and testing into the development of these cars and it shows. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo 944 to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. It is finished in black over tan leather and is very well optioned. The black finish shines like glass from bumper to bumper. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find some wear associated with age. There is a light scrape on the right rear fender. Also, there is a missing piece of trim on the left fender with a very minor amount of damage where the plastic trim piece goes. Normally, I wouldn't even mention something so minor but I'm being picky because of how nice the rest of the car is. Everything lines up nice and straight. The doors, hood and trunk open easily and close with that solid "Volvo thunk" that is evidence as to how well these cars are built. All of the glass and lenses are intact. This 944 has the optional alloy wheels which show well and are wrapped in nice rubber all around. Please take your time and check out all of the photos carefully. This is probably one of nicest 940/960's available. It comes to us as a fresh new car trade right here in Mechanicsburg, PA. I would also rate the interior of this Volvo to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The interior of a car is how one can truly tell how a vehicle has been cared for. Any idiot can buff up an exterior...you can't fake an interior (at least not in one of these cars). By the condition of the door cards (leather not shrinking and pulling) and the condition of the seats (still soft and supple, not brittle and cracking like most), I would guess that this Volvo has spent its entire life in a garage...which is also consistent with the condition of the exterior. The carpets are clean througout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. As I mentioned earlier, the leather seats are in remarkable condition...probably the nicest I've seen in a 9 series in quite some time. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The power drivers seat does not move up and down...the other functions work properly. Both front seats are heated. The stereo has been upgraded with a modern CD player which sounds good. The manual to the CD player (as well as a full set of manuals to the car) are in the glove box. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. The only complaint I have is that the fuel gauge sometimes works...sometimes doesn't. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.3L engine is basically indestructible. The 2.3L engine was first used by Volvo in tractors and is very sturdy. In fact, this engine originally carried a 17 year warranty in Europe!!! She fires right up and idles smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Volvo with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times and makes good power. There are no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. With basic preventative maintainence these engines will literally last forever. I've personally seen a few of these with mileage in excess of 500k and I've heard of some cracking 1,000,000 miles! There are a small group of automobiles made that are million mile cars...and most of them are the Volvo's that came with this engine (242, 244, 245, 744, 745, 944 and 945). The "4" in the middle is the important number. The first digit designates the body, the second designates the engine and the last designates the doors. I truly hope this gorgeous Volvo goes to a fellow enthusiast who will care for her and get several hundred thousand more miles out of her. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 1994 Volvo 944 with just 119k miles. The 9 series was the flagship of the Volvo brand in the 90's and represented very best in safety in its day. Volvo put an incredible amount of research and testing into the development of these cars and it shows. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo 944 to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. It is finished in black over tan leather and is very well optioned. The black finish shines like glass from bumper to bumper. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find some wear associated with age. There is a light scrape on the right rear fender. Also, there is a missing piece of trim on the left fender with a very minor amount of damage where the plastic trim piece goes. Normally, I wouldn't even mention something so minor but I'm being picky because of how nice the rest of the car is. Everything lines up nice and straight. The doors, hood and trunk open easily and close with that solid "Volvo thunk" that is evidence as to how well these cars are built. All of the glass and lenses are intact. This 944 has the optional alloy wheels which show well and are wrapped in nice rubber all around. Please take your time and check out all of the photos carefully. This is probably one of nicest 940/960's available. It comes to us as a fresh new car trade right here in Mechanicsburg, PA.
I would also rate the interior of this Volvo to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The interior of a car is how one can truly tell how a vehicle has been cared for. Any idiot can buff up an exterior...you can't fake an interior (at least not in one of these cars). By the condition of the door cards (leather not shrinking and pulling) and the condition of the seats (still soft and supple, not brittle and cracking like most), I would guess that this Volvo has spent its entire life in a garage...which is also consistent with the condition of the exterior. The carpets are clean througout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. As I mentioned earlier, the leather seats are in remarkable condition...probably the nicest I've seen in a 9 series in quite some time. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The power drivers seat does not move up and down...the other functions work properly. Both front seats are heated. The stereo has been upgraded with a modern CD player which sounds good. The manual to the CD player (as well as a full set of manuals to the car) are in the glove box. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. The only complaint I have is that the fuel gauge sometimes works...sometimes doesn't.
Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.3L engine is basically indestructible. The 2.3L engine was first used by Volvo in tractors and is very sturdy. In fact, this engine originally carried a 17 year warranty in Europe!!! She fires right up and idles smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Volvo with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times and makes good power. There are no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. With basic preventative maintainence these engines will literally last forever. I've personally seen a few of these with mileage in excess of 500k and I've heard of some cracking 1,000,000 miles! There are a small group of automobiles made that are million mile cars...and most of them are the Volvo's that came with this engine (242, 244, 245, 744, 745, 944 and 945). The "4" in the middle is the important number. The first digit designates the body, the second designates the engine and the last designates the doors. I truly hope this gorgeous Volvo goes to a fellow enthusiast who will care for her and get several hundred thousand more miles out of her. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will ba having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later. We cannot accept personal Checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents. We cannot issue temp tags or collect sales tax for out of state buyers. If you need a temp tag, there is a location nearby that can issue one to you. We can assist you in that process.
