1972 PORSCHE 911 S Targa VIN # 9112310843 ENGINE # 6322201 #843 of 989('72) Targas Paint code 324-9-3 metallic blue I purchased this car from previous owner of 20 years. This is a matching numbers 911S. The engine had an $8K refreshing in 1993 including updated tensioners, valves, chains, rails, guides, pistons, etc.... work was done by a local Porsche specialist. Documentation is included. The MFI was replaced with Webers back in the '80's, probably when the flares were added to the rear. The car tracks straight and true and there is NO evidence of any accident damage. Trim is nice with some patina Original seats, carpets, dash and radio One year only oil door Refurbished Targa top in great shape Floor pans, battery boxes, trunk and underside are extremely clean and dry An excellent candidate for a deserving restoration or drive as is and enjoy This car is not perfect, not completely rustfree, but very solid. Carpets, rubbers and dash are worn. The original seats fit like an old pair of boots with some splitting in seams. This was a nice car that has low miles and has been garage kept since the engine rebuild 20 years ago. There aren't many of these left in such original condition.
