For auction is a very nice driver 1964 SS. It was purchased by the second owner who bought it in 1972. He was a master mech for 32 years. He had it restored back in the late 80's or early 90's and drove it for a bit and then placed it in a dry unit storage locker. Nothing has been cut on the body. Behind the rear bumper I found a small amount of filler but that's about it. All I have done to it is replaced the fuel lines new tires and It Put on the Driver fender trim!!. The motor runs perfect and the trans shifts like it should! I have driven the car most of the summer and almost everyday, the rear brakes should be replaced at some point. The gas tank had a small patch years ago and now drips a bit so it will need one. This is a very original car. The shifting linkage is sloppy and will need some tighting It has brand new tires. The floors and frame are as good as it gets for an original car and are rust free. The trunk had fiberglass patch from the inside. It was undercoated when it was restored, so there are no holes and is very solid. The qtrs have some rust/paint bubbles starting to pop thru a bit "see pics" The interior is in nice driver shape with no rips or tears in the front seats but one by the ss speaker in the rear. All the glass is good and all the elec. work but the clock. Also I have no keys for it but back then you could start it and take out the keys. You can use the vin to have them made.
