This Mustang was completed in 1989 and had very much success at car shows. A bit ahead of its time having removed door handles, gutters, side vents, cowl vents, smoothed bumpers etc. It competed in a Pro Street Custom class. I took it apart 3 winters ago to update it but have since spent time on some Hot Rod projects and have decided to sell the mustang. I was looking to change the cage, firewall, induction system, paint etc. Needs to be completely rebuilt but is a great start for your project. Has 460 Ford engine with 429 Super Cobra Jet Heads, mild hydraulic cam, has single 4 barrel manifold matched to heads, (no Carb). Doug Nash Competition 5 Speed with Magnesium case, (needs rebuild) and a Don long Vertical gate shifter. Narrowed 9" Ford with Strange Engineering aluminum Posi Center Section. Lincoln Disc brakes. Full 2x3" frame, Custom made strut front end. All aluminum interior, aluminum 22 gallon fuel tank. Center line wheels with fake "Knock Off" center nuts. Have all the glass and weather striping, headers and exhaust, Tilt-telescopic steering column, C&R aluminum radiator, Has the dash cut out but comes with the car along with the aluminum gauge panel & gauges that were used. Lift off fiberglass hood with a removable fiberglass one piece front end. Car sits very low but rides nice. Car is for sale locally so it made be pulled from ebay if it sells I know I'm forgetting some things but I'll add them as I think of them. I've had this car since 1976 but once again my direction in cars has moved towards Hot Rods
