Thank you for viewing this low mileage classic 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa! Finished in Chiffon over Ruby this beautiful 53,000-mile two-owner car has been well maintained throughout its life.
This targa has always been stored in a climate-controlled garage and never driver in bad weather. We have the original owners books as well as the original registration from the first owner and some of the service history.
Power comes from Porsche's bulletproff 3.2 litre flat 6 rated at 207 hp matted to the 915, 5 speed transmission. Options include power windows, brakes, door locks, A/C, factory alarm, power driver and passenger mirrors, headlight washers, defrosters front and rear, intermittent wipers and AM/FM/CD with the original equalizer.
The interior is in great shape with no signs of ware with the exception of the gearshift knob and steering wheel leather, which will need to be re-sewn in one area. The original sport steering wheel has been replaced with a newer style wheel and we do not have the original wheel.
As you can see by the photos the car is fitted with a front strut brace as well as roll-bar braces around the targa bar area to help enhance the performance of the vehicle, a third brake light was also added. The original spare is still in the trunk and the targa top fits nicely.
The original Chiffon paint was a rare color and looks great with no dents, dings or scratches but does have the usual stone chips to the front valance. The car is extremely clean, has bever been painted and has a clean carfax report.
This Porsche runs and drives great without issue, the clutch shifts smooth with no grinding in any gears and is nice and tight and the tires have just been replaced. This car is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
