No one have ever smoked in this van. SMOKE FREE. Only a few defects in this original EXCELLENT condition 1983 1/2 Waterboxer engine w Air Cooled vents as well Westfalia VW Volkswagen full camper with kitchen pop top bus sleeps 4. If you compare prices on GoWestyDOTcom where collectors go to find these, you will see I've priced her to sell quickly since most on there are a far higher in price. Daisy my Miracle Bus is for sale! Sad to say. THE GOOD: Smoke Free Original interior in excellent shape. Original upholstery in great shape Original carpeting has been covered until I took this picture. You can have the mats that have been covering it for years. She Sleeps 4. Full kitchen: refrigerator, stove top, sink, water tank, propane tank, Camp ground hookup to plug into and run inside lights on electric - has standard electic outlet Two table locations. Have both arm mounts but only one table top (available online). 25K miles on engine. Totally gone through recently by my expert European mechanic in Spokane. $10,000K worth of work done by previous owner in Montana. Have all his receipts. He owned it 6 years or so. Got it from friends in Canada who re-did the engine. Those receipts have been promised but I never got them. My VW Mechanic says shes in tip top shape though. I just had the distributor rebuilt in Spokane. I put brand new heavy duty all season tires on her less than 300 miles ago. It's in original almost mint condition. 230K on chassis. Interior all original including stripe upholstery (not worn or dirty), all original curtains in good shape has windshield window curtain in great shape has side door curtain in good shape but it sags a bit since one snap is missing. has rear snap-on screen for those hot nights. (see it on in one picture) Great stereo/CD player - Kenwood with removeable face to avert theives and has great sound. Has a trailer hitch - see pics To my knowledge I was told I'm the Third Owner. Montana owner I bought it from told me he knew the owners before him when they had it for almost 20 years. BRAND new All season chunky tires - great winter driver (under 300 miles on new tires) She goes great in the snow due to the rear wheel drive with the weight of engine on it. Inside carpeting is MINT original condition due to having mats over it since 1984 (mats included but not shown in picture) Original manuals for both 1983 and 1984 Vanagon (see picture) Original camper VW manual for camper New thick green VW Mechanics Repair manual with extensive specs and info (shown on the floor in pictures) fairly new battery newly rebuilt distributor over $10,000 work has been done in the past three years (have receipts) Daisy is very reliable. Have taken her on two trips to Portland and to Montana. She pulls mountains like a dream. Located near N. Idaho and 45 minutes from both Spokane, Washington/Cour de Alene, Idaho. About the same distance from Moscow, Idaho/Pullman,Washington Will be happy to answer any questions I missed if I can. I owned a 67 VW Bus full camper for 13 years and dreamed of owning another one. But right after I bought it my health took a turn. I'm better now but my whole life has changed so Daisy has got to go. : ( to your good home. She's a gem. Drives like a dream. You feel like you're floating - if you've never driven a VW bus you have really missed something. Huge window view. Floating feeling of freedom. SEARCH WORDS: VW, Westy, Westfalia, Farfigneugen, vanagon, VanagonL, volkswagen, van, camper, rv,bus, bug, squareback, On Sep-23-13 at 20:14:43 PDT, seller added the following information: CORRECTIONS/ADDITIONS by seller after proofreading it: -Distributor rebuilt recently -Tires have less than 300 miles on them. -Have been told it doesn't need a muffler - just the tailpipe fell off so needs new tailpipe. -Has a custom Vinyl Bra - not perfect - I've never taken it off, don't know how. -Canvas on the pop top is almost perfect except for a spot at the back that you can't see until it is popped up. It's in the folds at the very back of the van. The canvas got caught in when someone closed the pop top without tucking it in properly. If I remember right it's about 8" long. Could easily be baseball stitched closed again (I know how to do it just have never done it-I'm an upholsterer). The rip is so folded in even when it's popped up that I've never even gotten any bugs when it's popped up. The zipper in the pop top canvas is fine and works perfectly. -It's kinda cool how when the top is popped up you can get easy access to the roof rack on the front over the cab. I put my craft booth up there and slips thru the window hole easily and I can tie it down without having to climb up a ladder to do it from the outside. There are built in loops to attach tie ons to on the roof rack. On Sep-24-13 at 22:14:32 PDT, seller added the following information: ATTENTION to POTENTIAL BUYERS/BIDDERS: Hi. Just wanted to mention that if you have ZERO or extremely low feedback number or score, and/or are new to Ebay, please give the consideration of emailing me with your intentions to purchase my classic VW Camper. In others words that you are SERIOUS and prepared to follow through and that you are sure this is the one for you. The reason I mention this is that I have seen three classic vehicles, not ours, that have been relisted in the last few weeks, which usually indicates that whoever was the winning bidder didn't follow through with their contract to purchase. You may come and see this Mint condition classic original two owner VW Camper during the auction. Just email me for an appointment. ALSO: There's a for sale sign on her in front of my house and she's listed on Craigslist locally. If she sells before the auction ends I reserve the right to cancel all bids. On Sep-27-13 at 17:14:57 PDT, seller added the following information: A high bidder asked me to take pictures of the undercarriage and under the floor mats. I did it and have about 15 more pictures. If you want to see them you'll have to click ASK SELLER A QUESTION and email me. I can answer you by sending the pictures thru eBay email but since I already have the maximum number of pics in the auction listing it won't let me add any more. She is pretty clean underneath. No deep rust at all. I also took pics of under the floor mats in the drivers seat. Clean as a whistle unworn yellow painted floorboards, except for a little dirt since it's never been opened up under there. It was tough to get under it. Also took more pics in drivers well of the original carpeting without the floor mats. Clean and nice. And the foot pedals are original and have not been replaced so the wear you see on those is original wear of 236K miles too. She's a gem, my daisy. Someone should click the buy it now soon since the reserve isn't all that much lower than the buy it now. My VW mechanic told me I'm even a little low on the buy it now price considering her mint original condition. He also said I got an amazing deal when I bought her. Thanks for looking.
