I purchased the truck in 1977, and it has been up-on-blocks in storage ever since. It had been last licensed in 1970 before I purchased it. The previous owner did some amateur restoration before I acquired it. I have done nothing to it since I bought it. It has not been run since I bought it, but the engine turns over and it appears to be complete and should run with minimal effort. I will leave it up to the buyer as to whether to attempt to run the engine as-is, or it tear down for an internal check due to the long term storage. The truck appears to be nearly complete, with only the horn, horn/headlight conduits, tail light, and shock absorbers missing. Obviously, the trim items would need to be replaced for cosmetic reasons. I believe the rear fenders are from a 1928-1929 coupe or roadster, as they do not fit properly at the splash aprons. See the pictures. The rest of the body, box, running boards, and front fenders are in good condition; considering this is an 83 year old vehicle that hasn’t been touched in 43 years. There are no rips in the fenders, and the fenderwell is not rusted out. There is some rust in the lower cowl and possibly the door bottoms. Also the right-rear fender is rusted, as shown in the pictures. The lower radiator splash apron is bent. The box and tailgate are in very good condition, with only a few minor dents. The interior appears to be complete, but was “redone” prior to me getting it. See the pictures. The wood appears to be good, but the top will have to be replaced. The windshield wiper is complete, but the windshield glass is discolored and cracked. The rest of the glass is good. Included are a MotoMeter and an original outside rear view mirror. Also, an unusual accessory inside sun visor is included. It was fitted with turn signals by the previous owner. The truck is up on tires, and rolls freely. The steering, clutch, transmission, and brakes all operate. Please be aware, although this truck is nearly complete, it will require a complete reconditioning of all components before it could be considered roadworthy. This truck would be a great attention getter if left as-is, or would be a good candidate for a full restoration. The truck is located in the Southern Tier of New York State. The buyer is to make all arrangements for transportation. This vehicle is not operational, and therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be put on a trailer or car hauler. I have done my best to accurately describe this item, but I am not an expert. Look at the pictures, or ask for additional information before you bid, as there will be no returns on this item.
