I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2002 Volvo V40 1.9T in remarkable condition. I would rate the exterior of this V40 to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this Volvo has been very well cared for by her previous owners. The white finish shows very well from bumper to bumber with barely as much as a scratch to mention. The hood, doors and trunk all line up nice and straight. Everything opens and closes easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber with good tread all around. If you're looking for an exceptionally clean, well cared for wagon...look no further. I would also rate the interior of this V40 to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this car. The door cards are all clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The dash is clean and shows no cracks or fading. The headliner is clean and tight. The tan leather seats are supple, clean and show well. The cargo area is spacious, clean and still has the original cargo net and cargo cover. The power windows, locks, seat and mirrors all appear to be working properly. The stereo is original and sounds great. The climate control system also appears to be in proper working order. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. A full set of books are included with this Volvo. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.9L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. This V40 has excellent road manners. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this wagon with no issues. The engine keeps proper temperature and there have been no idiot lights on. She makes good power and accelleration is a breeze. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. The timing belt service appears to have been done on time and is not due again for another year or so depending on how much you drive. The S40/V40's are new territory for me as a dealer. As the 850's and even the S70/V70's are getting harder to find...it's time to start taking a look at these cars. Everyone I've known who has had one of these swears by it. This is the nicest one I've had yet...hands down. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2002 Volvo V40 1.9T in remarkable condition. I would rate the exterior of this V40 to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this Volvo has been very well cared for by her previous owners. The white finish shows very well from bumper to bumber with barely as much as a scratch to mention. The hood, doors and trunk all line up nice and straight. Everything opens and closes easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber with good tread all around. If you're looking for an exceptionally clean, well cared for wagon...look no further.
I would also rate the interior of this V40 to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this car. The door cards are all clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The dash is clean and shows no cracks or fading. The headliner is clean and tight. The tan leather seats are supple, clean and show well. The cargo area is spacious, clean and still has the original cargo net and cargo cover. The power windows, locks, seat and mirrors all appear to be working properly. The stereo is original and sounds great. The climate control system also appears to be in proper working order. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. A full set of books are included with this Volvo.
Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.9L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. This V40 has excellent road manners. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this wagon with no issues. The engine keeps proper temperature and there have been no idiot lights on. She makes good power and accelleration is a breeze. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. The timing belt service appears to have been done on time and is not due again for another year or so depending on how much you drive. The S40/V40's are new territory for me as a dealer. As the 850's and even the S70/V70's are getting harder to find...it's time to start taking a look at these cars. Everyone I've known who has had one of these swears by it. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will ba having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later. We cannot accept personal Checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those transactions. We will assist you in that process.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with No Reserve auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
