My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is an uncommonly clean 1986 Lincoln Town Car Signature sedan. I would rate the exterior of this Town Car to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. This Town Car has had the same owner since 1992 and pride in ownership shows throughout this Lincoln. As you can see, this Town Car simply sparkles. It is finished in a blue/silver two tone exterior with chrome accents and a half landau roof. While it is original and probably not completely perfect, one would be hard pressed to find any complaints on the exterior of this Town Car. The only part that is showing some age is the roof at the rear...and it is minor. The paint shines like glass from front to back. There is hardly a scratch to be found. The doors, hood and trunk all line up nice and straight. All of the exterior chrome still has an excellent luster. Attention to detail is what sets the Town Car apart from its competitors of the day. The integrated drivers mirror thermometer still works properly and lights up as it should at night. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber with nearly new tread all around. The doors, hood and trunk all open easily and close properly. The power antenna still works properly. The soft close trunk lid still closes properly, too. I would rate the interior of this Town Car to also be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As with any older vehicle, there are some signs of age. The only noticeable faults to the interior is minor cosmetic wear on the drivers door arm rest and a small crack in the dash at the left speaker, both of which are common. The door panels are nice and tight. The carpets show rich and full throughout the interior. This Town Car comes with a full set of factory Ford floor mats and then another set of aftermarket floor mats to go on top of the Ford mats. The headliner is spotless. The rear deck shows well and is a good indication that this Lincoln has spent most of its life in a garage. The velour seats show well throughout the interior and feel like you're driving your favorite recliner. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. This car has the very rare factory sunroof which still works properly and does not appear to have ever leaked. The trunk is spacious and clean. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be in good working condition. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The stereo system is original and sounds great. The only complaint I have about the inside is that the digital fuel gauge works when it wants to so you have to keep track of your mileage. This is also an issue common to these cars. Mechanically, this Town Car appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.0L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The only thing I noticed was a typical valve cove leak...nothing major. The suspension on this Town Car feels well sorted. The steering is neutral and light as a feather. The brakes stop this large sedan with no issues. The engine makes good power and cruises easily. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. The first day I drove this car, the "engine temp" warning came on. I pulled over and checked everything...looked fine...so I kept going with no issues (the warning never came back on). Since then, I've put 300+ miles on this car with no issues...so I'm guessing it's a wacky sensor but I wanted you to know. This Town Car comes with complete service records dating back to 1999 as well as the original owners manual. It is PA inspected through January of 2014. I originally purchased this car for myself (which is why I put so many miles on it inside of a few days...I drive a lot). I also have a 6 and 7 year old. I love and respect older cars to the point that I couldn't stand to use it as a daily driver, racking up all of those miles and ruining such a nice car. My current driver is an 05 Police Interceptor. I can put 1000 miles a week on that and not feel bad so this Town Car is going to be sold...hopefully to someone who will treasure it and preserve it for years to come. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is an uncommonly clean 1986 Lincoln Town Car Signature sedan. I would rate the exterior of this Town Car to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. This Town Car has had the same owner since 1992 and pride in ownership shows throughout this Lincoln. As you can see, this Town Car simply sparkles. It is finished in a blue/silver two tone exterior with chrome accents and a half landau roof. While it is original and probably not completely perfect, one would be hard pressed to find any complaints on the exterior of this Town Car. The only part that is showing some age is the roof at the rear...and it is minor. The paint shines like glass from front to back. There is hardly a scratch to be found. The doors, hood and trunk all line up nice and straight. All of the exterior chrome still has an excellent luster. Attention to detail is what sets the Town Car apart from its competitors of the day. The integrated drivers mirror thermometer still works properly and lights up as it should at night. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber with nearly new tread all around. The doors, hood and trunk all open easily and close properly. The power antenna still works properly. The soft close trunk lid still closes properly, too.
I would rate the interior of this Town Car to also be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As with any older vehicle, there are some signs of age. The only noticeable faults to the interior is minor cosmetic wear on the drivers door arm rest and a small crack in the dash at the left speaker, both of which are common. The door panels are nice and tight. The carpets show rich and full throughout the interior. This Town Car comes with a full set of factory Ford floor mats and then another set of aftermarket floor mats to go on top of the Ford mats. The headliner is spotless. The rear deck shows well and is a good indication that this Lincoln has spent most of its life in a garage. The velour seats show well throughout the interior and feel like you're driving your favorite recliner. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. This car has the very rare factory sunroof which still works properly and does not appear to have ever leaked. The trunk is spacious and clean. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be in good working condition. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The stereo system is original and sounds great. The only complaint I have about the inside is that the digital fuel gauge works when it wants to so you have to keep track of your mileage. This is also an issue common to these cars.
Mechanically, this Town Car appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.0L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The only thing I noticed was a typical valve cove leak...nothing major. The suspension on this Town Car feels well sorted. The steering is neutral and light as a feather. The brakes stop this large sedan with no issues. The engine makes good power and cruises easily. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. The first day I drove this car, the "engine temp" warning came on. I pulled over and checked everything...looked fine...so I kept going with no issues (the warning never came back on). Since then, I've put 300+ miles on this car with no issues...so I'm guessing it's a wacky sensor but I wanted you to know. This Town Car comes with complete service records dating back to 1999 as well as the original owners manual. It is PA inspected through January of 2014. I originally purchased this car for myself (which is why I put so many miles on it inside of a few days...I drive a lot). I also have a 6 and 7 year old. I love and respect older cars to the point that I couldn't stand to use it as a daily driver, racking up all of those miles and ruining such a nice car. My current driver is an 05 Police Interceptor. I can put 1000 miles a week on that and not feel bad so this Town Car is going to be sold...hopefully to someone who will treasure it and preserve it for years to come. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will ba having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later. We cannot accept personal Checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those transactions. We will assist you in that process.
