My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very rare Saab 9000 Aero. The 1997 model year was the final year of the 9000 Aero before it was dropped in favor of the 9-5. The Saab 9000 Aero is probably one of the best all around cars ever made. They are very reliable, remarkably fast, surprisingly roomy and get respectable fuel economy. I've moved full sized filing cabinets with a 9000 back in the day. The cargo room is also remarkable. I would rate the exterior of this Saab 9000 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking 9000. It is finished in dark green with tan leather interior. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find small imperfections commensurate with the age and mileage of a used vehicle. All in all, this Saab shows very well. The finish is presentable all around. There is no noteworthy damage present. The doors, hatch and hood all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The Aero specific deep dish alloy wheels show some subborn dirt on the front but are free of damage. The tires show average tread all around. I've always loved the understated styling of the Saab Aero's. To most people, this just looks like any other old car. From those few who know what this car is, you get approving looks and long stares. I can't remember the last time I actually saw one of these on the road. I would rate the interior of this Saab 9000 Aero to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Please keep in mind that this Saab does have quite a few miles. Nobody buys an Aero because they plan to let it collect dust in the garage. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show a few stains from age but are not excessively worn. A full set of floor mats are included. The drivers seat is torn at the cushion seam, which is a common wear point. It has just come apart at the seam so it can be repaired if desired. The other three seats show very well and are ridiculously comfortable and supportive. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The headliner shows well. The dash only shows one crack from age. The power windows, locks, seats and sunroof all work properly. The premium Harmon/Kardon sound system still sounds great. The displays are hard to read (common with age) but everything looks to be in proper working order. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air anymore. The cargo area is cavernous and clean. This car comes with two keys and one remote (which still works). Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running and driving condition. The powerful 2.3L high output turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. This 9000 Aero appears to have been serviced by Swedish Motors (a reputable Saab specialist here in Central PA). However, it is due for a few service items. The valve cover seems to seep a little oil. There is an intermittent vibration in the steering at highway speeds so I'd suggest new tie rod ends, ect. There is also a small hole in the exhaust (barely audible). At this mileage, I find it hard to fault the car for needing a few things. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes do an excellent job at stopping this rocket. There have been no idiot lights on. The engine makes good power and is responsive. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, that vibration is all I can really complain about. She cruises nice and straight...does not pull to either side. Here is a chance to grab up an automobile that rarely comes available. These cars are built to last and it shows. She is PA inspected for safety and emissions through July of 2014. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very rare Saab 9000 Aero. The 1997 model year was the final year of the 9000 Aero before it was dropped in favor of the 9-5. The Saab 9000 Aero is probably one of the best all around cars ever made. They are very reliable, remarkably fast, surprisingly roomy and get respectable fuel economy. I've moved full sized filing cabinets with a 9000 back in the day. The cargo room is also remarkable. I would rate the exterior of this Saab 9000 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking 9000. It is finished in dark green with tan leather interior. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find small imperfections commensurate with the age and mileage of a used vehicle. All in all, this Saab shows very well. The finish is presentable all around. There is no noteworthy damage present. The doors, hatch and hood all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The Aero specific deep dish alloy wheels show some subborn dirt on the front but are free of damage. The tires show average tread all around. I've always loved the understated styling of the Saab Aero's. To most people, this just looks like any other old car. From those few who know what this car is, you get approving looks and long stares. I can't remember the last time I actually saw one of these on the road.
I would rate the interior of this Saab 9000 Aero to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Please keep in mind that this Saab does have quite a few miles. Nobody buys an Aero because they plan to let it collect dust in the garage. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show a few stains from age but are not excessively worn. A full set of floor mats are included. The drivers seat is torn at the cushion seam, which is a common wear point. It has just come apart at the seam so it can be repaired if desired. The other three seats show very well and are ridiculously comfortable and supportive. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The headliner shows well. The dash only shows one crack from age. The power windows, locks, seats and sunroof all work properly. The premium Harmon/Kardon sound system still sounds great. The displays are hard to read (common with age) but everything looks to be in proper working order. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air anymore. The cargo area is cavernous and clean. This car comes with two keys and one remote (which still works).
Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running and driving condition. The powerful 2.3L high output turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. This 9000 Aero appears to have been serviced by Swedish Motors (a reputable Saab specialist here in Central PA). However, it is due for a few service items. The valve cover seems to seep a little oil. There is an intermittent vibration in the steering at highway speeds so I'd suggest new tie rod ends, ect. There is also a small hole in the exhaust (barely audible). At this mileage, I find it hard to fault the car for needing a few things. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes do an excellent job at stopping this rocket. There have been no idiot lights on. The engine makes good power and is responsive. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, that vibration is all I can really complain about. She cruises nice and straight...does not pull to either side. Here is a chance to grab up an automobile that rarely comes available. These cars are built to last and it shows. She is PA inspected for safety and emissions through July of 2014. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will ba having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later. We cannot accept personal Checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those transactions. We will assist you in that process.
