1968 Corvette Coupe started out as a basket case and was rebuilt from ground up engine has been gone through paint is excellent interior new still has original 4spd. This is a low option car did not have power steering or ac does have original wood grain steering wheel and wheels (caps). I have been told 2 different things regarding the engine. When the car was rebuilt the body shop told me it was a matching numbers car so I was going to and did restore it to original condition color etc. I was going to resto mod it originally and put ac power steering upgrade brakes etc for my wife as a Wedding Present. I was told by another mechanic who recently tuned it up fixed brakes etc that the engine is period correct 66-68 327 corvette engine but not numbers matching. I do not know how to confirm either. All work was done by local shops I am not mechanically inclined it needs some minor cosmetics and could use bumpers rechromed or replaced but they don't look bad just not as nice as the paint. Bottom line is it is cheap and all the major (expensive) work is done I have over $25,000 in the car and am asking a fraction of that na it is a real nice driver.
