Originally sold new in Huntsville, AL, this SAAB has always been a southern car. This is a very straight, running and solid 96 that would require very little to make an excellent driver. I recently rebuilt the master cylinder and it appears that other work has been performed on it over the past several years. I took the car on trade and have not had the time to play with it. The interior is in good condition for the age, with the seats having no tears or rips. The dash pad is split and there is no radio. The motor starts easily and does not smoke. The column mounted manual shifter goes through all the gears with no grinding or other issues. All the glass is crack free. It does have some body damage to the front lower valance, but that appears to be the only damage that the body has ever had. Absolutely no rust is on the floors and bottom of the car. There are very minor rust bubbles on the bottom of the passenger door and in the cross bar in the engine compartment next to the battery (Photos available). Overall, a fun and unusual car and an easy project. These are known for their durability and simplicity. Parts and support is readily available. Reserve is reasonably set.
