87 GSXR 1100 project bike for sale. I purchased this bike about 6 years ago on ebay for a winter project. When the bike showed up I ran it around the neighborhood then I drained the fuel oiled up the cylinders pulled the battery and parked it in the garage. It has sat there ever since. I was planning on taking it apart and restoring it but I don't think that is going to happen. I was told buy the previous owner that the bike had a recent rebuild with a 1216CC big bore kit and a ported head It also has 39mm Mikuni carbs, K & N air cleaners, header and an NOS kit that needs to be wired up. I can't verify the rebuild but I remember that the bike was very fast. The tires were brand new when I got it and it has newer, wider, polished wheels. It also has a 4 inch extended swingarm. The brakes and the hydrolic clutch have bled down over the years so they are going to need some attention and it will need a battery. I did put a battery out of my other bike up to it and it fired right up on starting fluid. Its a great project for the right person. Thanks for looking
