Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Volvo S40 sedan. The S40 is a small sedan famed for its reliability and excellent fuel economy. Everyone I've known that has had one of these S40's says how nice they are. I've been trying to get my hands on one for a while with no success. I usually buy vehicles I am familiar with and often hesitate to buy things I don't know much about. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased my first S40. Since this is my first one, I'm not super familiar with them but I'll do my best represent the car accurately. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The red finish looks great and shines well. The finish on these vehicles are known to fade with time...not this one. She has a mile deep shine and looks great. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find small flaws associated with age and mileage. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The headlight lenses are nice and clear, not cloudy and hazed. The alloy wheels show well all around. I'd replace the tires soon. The fronts are okay but the rears are very thin. I'm guessing they were previously on the front. You could get away with replacing just two but I'd do the whole set just to have a matching set. Tires this size are pretty inexpensive. The hood, doors and trunk all line up nice and straight and open/close easily. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well. The drivers seat cushion is torn at the center seam...which is normal with age. Otherwise, the seats show well. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The stereo is original and sounds good. One of the knobs is missing. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Both front seats are heated. The trunk is spacious and clean. This S40 comes with a full set of owners books as well as the original $28,000 window sticker. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running condition. The 1.9L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are pretty good for an older vehicle. I can feel a slight rattle in the suspension and a slight vibration at highway speeds or under power. I'd recomment new suspension bushings when you replace the tires. Worn bushings would support the rattle/vibration as well as the worn tires. The engine seems to run well. It keeps perfect temperature and there are no idiot lights on. I made sure I put more than 60 miles on it to make sure all of the readiness monitors are set. The brakes feel good. The steering feels good. She cruises nice and straight with no complaints. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and seems to shift fine. I was messing with the trip computer the other day and the current AVG fuel economy is sitting at 28mpg which is pretty impressive considering the amount of recent idle time while being processed at my shop. I don't see any major issues with this Volvo. You'll have to do tires and bushings pretty soon. I don't see anything major that needs immediate attention. This car was almost $30,000 ten years ago which makes it an excellent used car value. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Volvo S40 sedan. The S40 is a small sedan famed for its reliability and excellent fuel economy. Everyone I've known that has had one of these S40's says how nice they are. I've been trying to get my hands on one for a while with no success. I usually buy vehicles I am familiar with and often hesitate to buy things I don't know much about. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased my first S40. Since this is my first one, I'm not super familiar with them but I'll do my best represent the car accurately. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The red finish looks great and shines well. The finish on these vehicles are known to fade with time...not this one. She has a mile deep shine and looks great. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find small flaws associated with age and mileage. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The headlight lenses are nice and clear, not cloudy and hazed. The alloy wheels show well all around. I'd replace the tires soon. The fronts are okay but the rears are very thin. I'm guessing they were previously on the front. You could get away with replacing just two but I'd do the whole set just to have a matching set. Tires this size are pretty inexpensive. The hood, doors and trunk all line up nice and straight and open/close easily. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well. The drivers seat cushion is torn at the center seam...which is normal with age. Otherwise, the seats show well. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The stereo is original and sounds good. One of the knobs is missing. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Both front seats are heated. The trunk is spacious and clean. This S40 comes with a full set of owners books as well as the original $28,000 window sticker.
Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running condition. The 1.9L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are pretty good for an older vehicle. I can feel a slight rattle in the suspension and a slight vibration at highway speeds or under power. I'd recomment new suspension bushings when you replace the tires. Worn bushings would support the rattle/vibration as well as the worn tires. The engine seems to run well. It keeps perfect temperature and there are no idiot lights on. I made sure I put more than 60 miles on it to make sure all of the readiness monitors are set. The brakes feel good. The steering feels good. She cruises nice and straight with no complaints. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and seems to shift fine. I was messing with the trip computer the other day and the current AVG fuel economy is sitting at 28mpg which is pretty impressive considering the amount of recent idle time while being processed at my shop. I don't see any major issues with this Volvo. You'll have to do tires and bushings pretty soon. I don't see anything major that needs immediate attention. This car was almost $30,000 ten years ago which makes it an excellent used car value. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will ba having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later. We cannot accept personal Checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those transactions. We will assist you in that process.

There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
