I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. In case you're not familiar, the CVPI is basically a beefed up version of the more pedestrian Crown Victoria. Although it shares the body and basics of the normal Crown Victoria, the CVPI is a very different animal. The Police Interceptor package includes an external transmission and engine oil cooler, heavy duty suspension for aggressive handling, skid plates to protect the vitals underneath and increased performance through more aggressive engine and transmission tuning. There is a reason that the Crown Victoria is the vehicle of choice for law enforcement and taxi service. If you need a spacious and reliable vehicle that has a long service life and can handle basically anything you can throw at it, the Crown Victoria is about the only choice. This specific Crown Victoria comes with the Street Appearence Package, which is its most desirable form. The Street Appearence Package adds chrome door and window trim, replaces the black plastic grill with a chrome grill and the insert between the tail lights is body colored, not black. Also, the "Police Interceptor" badge is deleted in favor of one that just says "Crown Victoria". This vehicle was purchased new by the Pennsylvania State Police and has been maintained by the State Police until it was rotated out of service. What makes this CVPI even more desirable is that it is finished in light blue and lacks the typical spot light...which means this was most likely a supervisors car and not subjected to the harsh use of a patrol car. As you can see, the exterior of this Crown Victoria is in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for a Police Interceptor of this age and mileage. The light blue finish shines like glass and looks good from any angle. As with nearly every retired Police Interceptor, there are slight scratches on the roof and trunk lid from clip boards, ect. There are a few spots on the body where the paint is chipped from use. Everything on this Interceptor lines up nice and straight. As you can see, all of the original VIN tags are in place which means that this car was most likely never in an accident. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The wheel covers are all present and show well. The tires show above average tread all around. The trunk is spacious and clean. It includes the proper spare as well as the standard issue trunk organizer. Being a supervisors car, this CVPI does not have the cut out for the spot light and isn't full of holes from lights and antennas like most are. If you've been looking for a CVPI, this is as desirable as they get. I would rate the interior of this Police Interceptor to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for her age and mileage. As you can see, this car has seen light use. The door panels are clean and tight. All buttons work properly. The rubber floors are in good condition. The heavy duty, stab proof seats show well front and back. The headliner is clean and tight. The auxillary dome light is still intact and works properly. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The radio is original and sounds good. The climate control system also works properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Mechanically, this CVPI appears to be in good running and driving condition. The powerful 4.6L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. In addition to having several performance upgrades over the normal Crown Victoria, the 2006 model year marked additional changes to the engine management system. Ford switched the CVPI to a knock sensor based ignition, which means the car is tuned up to run as aggressively as possible at all times. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The heavy duty suspension is nice and tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this full sized sedan with no issues. Out on the road, she feels poised and confident. The engine keeps perfect temperature and there have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she cruises nice and straight with no complaints. She is PA inspected through March 2014. Please bid with absolute confidence. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purcahse. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. In case you're not familiar, the CVPI is basically a beefed up version of the more pedestrian Crown Victoria. Although it shares the body and basics of the normal Crown Victoria, the CVPI is a very different animal. The Police Interceptor package includes an external transmission and engine oil cooler, heavy duty suspension for aggressive handling, skid plates to protect the vitals underneath and increased performance through more aggressive engine and transmission tuning. There is a reason that the Crown Victoria is the vehicle of choice for law enforcement and taxi service. If you need a spacious and reliable vehicle that has a long service life and can handle basically anything you can throw at it, the Crown Victoria is about the only choice. This specific Crown Victoria comes with the Street Appearence Package, which is its most desirable form. The Street Appearence Package adds chrome door and window trim, replaces the black plastic grill with a chrome grill and the insert between the tail lights is body colored, not black. Also, the "Police Interceptor" badge is deleted in favor of one that just says "Crown Victoria". This vehicle was purchased new by the Pennsylvania State Police and has been maintained by the State Police until it was rotated out of service. What makes this CVPI even more desirable is that it is finished in light blue and lacks the typical spot light...which means this was most likely a supervisors car and not subjected to the harsh use of a patrol car.
As you can see, the exterior of this Crown Victoria is in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for a Police Interceptor of this age and mileage. The light blue finish shines like glass and looks good from any angle. As with nearly every retired Police Interceptor, there are slight scratches on the roof and trunk lid from clip boards, ect. There are a few spots on the body where the paint is chipped from use. Everything on this Interceptor lines up nice and straight. As you can see, all of the original VIN tags are in place which means that this car was most likely never in an accident. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The wheel covers are all present and show well. The tires show above average tread all around. The trunk is spacious and clean. It includes the proper spare as well as the standard issue trunk organizer. Being a supervisors car, this CVPI does not have the cut out for the spot light and isn't full of holes from lights and antennas like most are. If you've been looking for a CVPI, this is as desirable as they get.
I would rate the interior of this Police Interceptor to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for her age and mileage. As you can see, this car has seen light use. The door panels are clean and tight. All buttons work properly. The rubber floors are in good condition. The heavy duty, stab proof seats show well front and back. The headliner is clean and tight. The auxillary dome light is still intact and works properly. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The radio is original and sounds good. The climate control system also works properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too.
Mechanically, this CVPI appears to be in good running and driving condition. The powerful 4.6L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. In addition to having several performance upgrades over the normal Crown Victoria, the 2006 model year marked additional changes to the engine management system. Ford switched the CVPI to a knock sensor based ignition, which means the car is tuned up to run as aggressively as possible at all times. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The heavy duty suspension is nice and tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this full sized sedan with no issues. Out on the road, she feels poised and confident. The engine keeps perfect temperature and there have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she cruises nice and straight with no complaints. She is PA inspected through March 2014. Please bid with absolute confidence. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will ba having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later. We cannot accept personal Checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those transactions. We will assist you in that process.
