Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my VERY EARLY PRODUCTION 1986 SUZUKI GSXR 750. This bike is in very good shape but it is missing the fairing (I bought it that way because it was the only one I have ever seen like this). This bike was manufactured on 11-85 and is one of the last pre-production bikes from 1985. The GSXR 750 did not officially debut until 1987 when select dealers throughout the US got just a handful of them in stock. I bought the very first 1987 GSXR 750 sold in the state of Texas when I was 20 years old from the Suzuki dealership in Corpus Christie Tx. My Dad was fishing buddies with the owner of the dealership and when he got his sample bike in he sold it to me 3 days later. This bike was manufactured a year and a half before the bike I bought that day. The most notable difference is the white rims and the front fender on this bike, it is like none of the post production bikes. I bought this bike 4 years ago sight unseen in Colorado and I actually rode the bike 12 miles the day I picked it up. It sat in my game room at my home in Durango Colorado for a few years and I just brought the bike down to my home in Texas because I am going to sell a lot of my collection over the next few months. The bike rode and shifted excellent the day I rode it but it has been sitting for a few years so it will need a new battery and the carbs will need to be rebuilt I am sure. Also the bike has lost it's gas cap along the way and I would line the tank before I rode the bike. The bike is very complete with the exception of the fairing. I am not sure why the fairing was missing when I bought it because the bike shows no signs of being dropped. I see fairings for these bikes on ebay from time to time so if you can get one the bike will be complete. I am very confident in this bike so this will be A TRUE NO RESERVE AUCTION AND THE HIGHEST BIDDER WILL WIN THIS BIKE. I can't stress enough how rare this bike is and I am sure someone in the know will snap this bike up quickly. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY FEEDBACK, BID WITH CONFIDENCE AND BID TO WIN THE AWESOME AND RARE LOW PRODUCTION 1986 GSXR 750. Don't let this one pass you by, there are a very limited number of bikes like this out there and this is the ONLY one I have ever seen in person. Thank you for looking at my auction, be sure to look at my other auctions and as always, happy motoring.
