Vehicle Detail

marcw1111 Store Up for sale is my 1998 convertible Corvette. she is an exceptional car which the pictures will not do her justice. I have owned her for about 2 years and have driven her about 6000 miles in that time. She is garaged and never sees bad weather. This is not my daily drive car. The previous owner was equally obsessed with her and drove her even less. She has 37,112 original miles on her. When I bought her, the previous owner had already had her modified. The mods were all done by Andy at A and A Corvette in Ventura, Ca.. She has the Cam and Head package, performance programming.3:42 Differential, performance shocks and titanium valve springs. When I bought her I put $4,000 into an incredible sound system. It has the Alpine media deck, runs Pandora and your ipod through a docking hookup, AM/FM, XM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth. The speakers are high end, with a sub woofer and 700 watt amp built into the trunk. As for the standard stuff, she's a 1998 (first year C5 convertible),automatic, she has chrome wheels, traction control, memory seats, dual climate control, a dash cover. The previous owner gave me a binder with all receipts in it, including window sticker. Since I have owned her I have done a transmission fluid change, regular oil changes, replaced epc and wiring harness for transmission, recently put on front brakes and rotors and fixed the drivers seat. Corvettes are known for the seat issue where it slides, I have fixed that issue. This car is really nice. She runs extremely well, is quick, loud, and I hear "nice car" at every stop sign. She is 15 years old, so here are the issues with her. As you can see in the pics, there are two small tears on the outside of the drivers seat. The previous owner put Velcro on the dash to hold the cover. If you remove the cover you will see tape remnants from that. I haven't removed them because I like the cover and the fact it stays in place. There is a slight rub from the roof where it meets the back cover section. there is a slight paint rub off. about the size of a half a dime, on both sides. I do have a paint match kit from Chevy that can probably fix that. KBB lists this car as a $26,900 value without the upgrades.
