No Engine or Transmission! Project vehicle that will need towed. I can help push it on trailer but winch would be best. Hi. Selling a 2000 VW Beetle TDI automatic that donated its engine to another project (Vanagon mTDI). Only includes body as the transmission has already been sold. I've owned this car for quite a few years and she was a great running car as you can see in the attached video of her last day on the road. A year ago I had the AC Compressor and dryer replaced (looking for receipt but remember it was $1100), when I removed the engine I tied the AC compressor to the body and kept it charged for you. Should be able to attach engine and blow cold air! I replaced everything front suspension last year and then accidentally took the train tracks by my house to fast and killed the struts, so that will need repaired if you want this for more than the body. Hood does latch it just wasn't for the pictures, tiny plastic clip for release broke when removing engine so I left it open. She was in a minor accident a few years ago that tore the front bumper cover and dinged the hood, real bumper under the cover looks untouched. Interior is fair, the leather on the door panels is loose but seats are nice except for small tear on drivers side (back seat is not in the pictures but its in my attic so it will be included).
