Vehicle Detail

Engine1. Engine is in good operating condition. Runs strong with no hesitation. Engine oil and filter replaced every 3000 - 5000 miles at most. Spark plugs along with Caps and rotors were replaced within last 2 years. Only upgrade is a K&N filter air filter. Power steering lines were replaced in 2010. Over 25 pages of repair documentation dating from 2005 included. Original owners manual included.2. Engine oil pan damp with a few drops forming at end of pan that will, if sitting long enough, begin to drip on floor. I monitor it very closely. Engine does not consume much oil. When it is time to add a quart or so it is already time for an oil change so I just change the oil 3. Timing belt and water pump replaced in July of 2007. Transmission1. Automatic transmission shifts smoothly when driving but when at a halt and shifting from park to drive or reverse it "jumps/jerks" in place. After that car drives very well. I suspect a motor/trans mount but have not looked into it since car drives fine. 2. There is a small leak near transmission reservoir. Several drops will appear on floor after parked from driving. I refill every 4 to 6 months to keep it topped of. I believe it may be a seal in reservoir but have not really looked into it since leak is slow and I closely monitor it. I replaced Fluid and filter about a year ago. Exterior condition1. No dents or rust. Car has never been in an accident. Paint is in average to good condition. Typical rock chips on front bumper, hood and door mirrors. Scratch in front bumper.2. Paint on drivers door is faded. Does not show very well in pictures but is obvious up close. Besides that the paint is original and in very good condition considering the age of the car. Car is waxed 4 times a year and liquid spray on wax is used in between waxes. 3. Wheels have curb rash. Front tires are still good but rear tires are worn. Interior condition1. Interior is in good clean condition. Dash has typical cracks but it is covered by quality dash cap (dash cap still needs to be glued on). Locking mechanisms works as should and car arms with factory alarm when closed with key. Heat works well. Center console opens and closes well (hinges intact). Includes original front carpets. All seats except driver's seat are in good condition. Passenger seat is heated. Spare tire with compressor(aftermarket) is still in car.2. Driver side seat has tear in bolster (see picture). Electrical1. Updated Porsche radio installed with factory Ipod connection. Will play most IPods (not nano) but will only charge generation 3 or older IPODS.2. Fan Switch operates only on the 2 last settings (might need resistor replaced).3. AC not functional. I am not sure if it needs a recharge or if there is something else wrong with it. Recently replaced AC side engine fan. I just drove with windows down and sunroof open.4. Interior Trunk/hatch switch not functioning but opens with key.5. Sunroof works but needs new switch.6. Driver seat works but switch is going bad forward recline works intermittently. 7. Odometer broke at 204,079 miles replaced with used odometer with mileage reading at 118,327. Current reading of odometer is 121,463 and I still occasionally drive the vehicle so mileage will increase slightly. 8. Fuel gauge sometimes fluctuates (might need new gauge or fuel sender)9. On very, very hot days car runs hot but still within operating temperature.10. Gauge cluster sometimes indicates that a tail light is out but I always check and tail light is always good..? I suspect a short somewhere in gauge cluster. Overall This car is not a garage queen. And although there are many minor issues with it the car has never left me stranded (unlike other much newer car's that I have owned). I have mechanically maintained it and genuinely cared for it as did the previous owners. Although it handles very well and is very fast I have never abused it. For the price I am asking you cannot beat it. There may be other minor issues with it that I cannot readily recall but nothing that affects the performance or functionality of the vehicle. I have purchased a 911 and can only maintain one classic exotic at a time. Car is also for sale locally so if sold I will cancel the auction. Please feel free to email me with any questions and thanks for looking.
