Vehicle Detail

Muscle Car Garage USA: We are a private collection of 60's and 70's muscle cars. We also do restorations in our two locations in the Jacksonville and Orlando area. From time to time we decide to offer one of our collector cars up for sale. Our vehicles are usually full "nut and bolt" restorations and are the quality of a regional or local show car winner. Many of our cars are previous trophy winners. We are not dealers just car enthusiasts who have been collecting cars for years and performing restorations to the level of regional show car quality. We are not a concourse restorer, and many of our cars are trailered to events but most vehicles can be driven if you choose to do so. All Around Details: Up for auction is our 1952 Chevrolet 3100 Stake Side Farm Truck. This is a complete frame off restoration where every nut and bolt was either restored or replaced. The restoration was done approximately 10 years ago. This truck was purchased at a high end collector car auction by a private individual that had a collection of 34 vehicles. It was taken from the auction and put into a container up on blocks and untouched for about 7 years. The truck ended up being given to the collectors son. He had it for about a year and it was sitting in the back corner of an auto shop where it had not run in 8 years. We purchased the truck and brought it out of its coma. The truck has competed in AACA shows and trophied. You can tell that no expense was spared on the restoration of the truck when it was done 10 years ago. It has held up incredibly well. Aside from a few cosmetics items that we replaced, replacing the entire fuel system, rebuilding the carburetor and generator, and a new battery, it is as good as new. It is restored back to exactly as it was in 1952 with a complete 6 volt electrical system, (all replaced), and it's matching numbers 235 inline six and 3-speed manual tranny were completly rebuilt. It even has the original flashlight on the steering column and it still works. The paint is still in very good condition and the coker wide white wall tires set it off very well. It has custom pinstripping and runs and drives exactly as it should. The truck has been driven and although completed 10 years ago, it is not perfect but is still worthy of any local or regional car show. All Aound Rating: 9 out of 10 Exterior Details: This truck is absolutely spectacular and the turquoise with the wide whitewalls and restored wood bed is showstopping. There is no rust on the car anywhere. The panels, fenders, and running boards all fit just like they should. Although the turquoise paint is 10 years old, it is still in very good condition. We did repaint the bumpers and grille just to freshen it up a bit and well as add some tasteful pinstripping to the cab, bed rails, gate, and hubcaps. The wood bed and stake sides were also recently restored. All the glass, seals, and weatherstripping have all been replaced. This color combination, along with the restored patina of the wood bed, and the factory ride height make this truck one of the most beautiful '52 Chevy trucks you will ever see. Exterior Rating: 8 out of 10 Interior Details: The interior has all been redone from the headliner to the rubber mat. The interior is painted the factory grey with the black panels and seat. All the windows roll up and down as they should and seal correctly. The steering wheel was rsetored 10 years ago and is still in good condition. All the factory gauges work (oil, temp, fuel, speedo, & gen) as well as the emegency brake, fresh air vent, heater, and horn. The dash has been completely restored and even the interior lights and dash lights work as they should. The wipers are vacuum operated and work intermittenly. The truck is a factory radio delete and no seat belts as it was in 1952. Even the interior light works. Everything has been restored or replaced in the interior top to bottom, side to side. Interior Rating: 8.5 out of 10 Engine Bay & Mechanical: What is cool about this 52 is that it is all matching numbers and a turnkey driveable show truck. The engine is the rebuilt inline 235 six cylinder. Tranny was also rebuilt and new clutch put it. It is a 3 speed on the column and shifts extremely smooth for this type of linkage. The entire electrical and fuel system has been replaced with NOS and reproduction parts. The factory floor starter works as it should and the engine runs like a champ. The truck has no leaks in either the motor or the tranny. The entire brake system has been replaced so the truck stops very good. The radiator was flushed and cools the truck as it should. The truck is a pleasure to drive but is more off a torque monster than a speed demon!!!! The engine bay was painted the beautiful turquoise when the engine was out which sets off the cool black 235 six banger and oil dampened air cleaner. Every nut and bolt under the hood was replaced during the restoration. It not only looks beautiful, it runs like a top. Engine Bay & Mechanical Rating: 9 out of 10 My opinion of this super classic 52 Chevy Truck is extremely high. It was restored to a very high level 10 years ago and although it is not perfect, it is a very high quality showable and driveable truck today. The color combination is exqusite and draws a crowd at every car & truck show. Absolutely every nut and bolt on this truck was replaced or restored. The body and pans are super solid with zero rust. The drivetrain is all completely rebuilt and everything works as it should and would have been in 1952. This is one beautiful truck with no surprises that someone will be lucky enough to own when this auction ends. I believe you will really enjoy the attention this old truck gets on the road and at the local and regional car & truck shows. This 52 Farm Truck is super reliable and very show worthy. I have tried to represent this vehicle to the best of my ability with both pictures and written description. Please call with any questions that I may not have answered here. (321) 277-6718.
