1951 Chevrolet ¾ Ton Stakebed – NO RESERVE Older restoration 10+ years ago, still looks great. New front cap added during the restoration, front fenders are fiberglass and grill and side markers are reproductions. Original metal hood, cab and doors. Side markers indicate it is a ½ ton,( 3100 instead of 3600) but that is only because reporduction ¾ ton markers were not available to the 2nd owner during the restoration. Title correct as a ¾ ton. New “Clarke” bed added during the restoration. Beautiful wood stakes and running boards added at that time. No rust, only superficial surface rust as seen in photos. Paint is not perfect with some minor imperfections but still shines well Runs great and shifts smoothly. Needs a driver’s side windshield wiper motor & fuel gauge does not work. Could use a new tailpipe. 43,643 original miles. (Copy of the 2nd owner title will be provided to winning bidder indicating 41,000 original miles in 1989) Original Stovebolt 6 cyl engine Original 4 speed manual transmission ( 1st gear is a granny gear ) This was a farm vehicle until 1989, barn stored during those years. I am the trucks 3rd owner. 1st owner had truck from 1951 to 1989. I purchased the truck from the 2nd owner in 2009. This is not a $25K showtruck but it gets a lot of attention, is pretty rare and is perfect for local car shows or just for Sunday drives.
