FOR SALE: 2005.5 AUDI S4 SEDAN 60,xxx Low Miles!!, Fantastic Shape!! Priced to Sell at $16,750!! 4.2L, 340 HP V8 Engine 6 Speed Manual Transmission Black Silk Napa Leather Recarro Seating Grey Birchwood Belt Trim Line(Carbon fiber look) Navigation/ Cold Weather Package Quattro Legendary AWD Dolphin Grey Metallic Exterior Color I'm letting my beast go to the next lucky owner! Someone will receive one exceptionally nice B7 Audi S4 with a few high quality extras already included. -I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle. It was originally purchased by a Doctor in Chicago and he was the individual who installed the 30 or 35% tint, RS4 wheels and TEIN coilover suspension, lowering the vehicle to accentuate the athletic nature of the car. The coilovers improve the ride quality from stock, which was one of the original complaints on the B7 S4. The experts claimed the suspension was a bit taught on the otherwise historically good S4. The coilovers offer a great compromise between ride quality and ride height, addressing the experts complaints nicely. It rides smoother than stock and offers the hunched down, aggressive look. The second owner was an attorney from Omaha who did nothing but keep the vehicle in great shape. They both included every single record of the maintenance and services performed on the vehicle, just as I have, and will pass on to the next enthusiast. I've owned the car for two and a half years and have enjoyed every minute of it. -The car has never had any serious mechanical problems and none while it has been in my possession. The Audi S4s did have a recall on a simple ignition coil pack that the manufacturer handled and dealerships serviced on every S4 in the US. This car had the service performed when the second owner of the vehicle had it around 4 years ago. From what I know, the car has never failed to start, and it runs flawlessly. For myself, the only mechanic needs I've had have been general maintenance and for window regulators on both front windows. At around 7.5 or 8 years they both gave out in familiar Germanic auto fashion. So the next owner won't have to worry about that problem again for some time! I also added a very nice set of OEM upgrade ATE slotted brake rotors and brand new Akebon pads at 57862 miles and the car just went over 60000 miles July 18. The AC was recently serviced as well. -The car will be sold as pictured with the 19" Audi RS4 style wheels that have a like new set of top of the industry Michelin Pilot Super Sports. 245/35/19 all around. It will also come with the stock 18" Audi wheels and Dunlop winter performance tires that are also nearly new, if desired, at no additional cost. I've run about 8500 miles on the Michelin's in two summers, and the meaty winter Dunlops have less than 2000 miles total on them. The 19" RS4 Style wheels are nearly flawless. Not a single curb rash or scratch. I did have one wheel repaired over the winter for a pretty nasty curb rash I couldn't tolerate looking at, but they did an excellent job on the repair and refinish of the wheel. The stock 18's have a few curb rashes and nicks but are in great shape for an 8 year old wheel. -The 4.2L naturally aspirated engine has never had any form of modifications whatsoever. The only modifications I added to the vehicle were an improved baseline in the trunk in the form of a nice Rockford Fosgate Subwoofer box and accompanying RF amplifier to enhance the already potent BOSE sound system, and a set of aluminum S-Line foot pedals. If the buyer would prefer to receive the car without the extra bass, I can remove the subs before you take possession. I recently installed a nice SEIBON Carbon Fiber Hood painted by the Audi dealership to match the car in Dolphin Grey metallic paint. The hood was unfortunately not a perfect fit, so I've retained the stock hood and a buyer can chose to do as they please. You may only want the SEIBON hood, or I could re-install the stock hood for you altogether. I can ship the stock hood to you after purchase or you can arrange to pick it up. Unless you're looking for flaws, the average person won't notice the gaps on the Fiber hood on the street, but I wanted to give a perspective buyer as much information as possible. The photo below shows the hood gap... I did ding the stock hood in my garage over the winter and it has about a 2 inch mini crease in the hood just above the grille. I couldn't tolerate looking at the crease so I attempted to upgrade to a Carbon Fiber product. I didn't realize fitment on aftermarket parts left so much to be desired... Again, a buyer can let me know what they'd like to do and we can handle it. -The paint is in excellent shape and there are literally zero door dings on the car. None. There are a couple very small indentions on the rear bumper that are nearly in-perceivable. Above the rear passenger wheel, on the small space between the tire and the door, there is also an extra small ding that you wouldn't notice unless I pointed it out. That's it. Other than that the exterior looks great. I've used One Grand products on the car since I've owned it, and have only kept up a tradition of pride of ownership that the first owner obviously shared with me. Scale of 1 to 10, the exterior is a 9. -The interior seriously looks like it is from a one year old vehicle and has Audi's most desirable long term color combination. The Black Silk Nappa Leather Recarro Seats are the most comfortable, sport seats of any car I've ever owned and are in fantastic shape, front and back. Myself and the previous owners were all non-smokers, and pretty diminutive guys, so the seats have taken very little wear over their 60,000 miles. Instead of the dated wood look or cheaper aluminum trim look, the car has the dark grey Carbon Fiber look trim throughout. It also has the cool power rear and manual side sunshades. Scale of 1 to 10, the interior is a 9.5. Every thing works as it should and the sound system is pretty special. It's not overly loud but has nice sound quality, and the head unit/Nav system Audi utilized in the car is sourced directly from the Lamborghini Gallardos parts bin. It has a sweet fold down face that will take all the music you can handle with slots for 2 SD cards and the Navi DVD slot. In the glovebox is a nice Audi 6 Disc changer for your long road trips. The S4 is my daily driver unless weather looks inclement, then I take my old Pathfinder to absorb the beating! The car still feels nearly new from behind the wheel and the interior still has a distant whiff of that new scent and looks like an interior from a one year old car, despite being 8 plus years old. My commute is only 6 or 7 minutes a day so most of my miles now are spent purely on driving for enjoyment when I get a chance to take the long way home. -As for cost of ownership, the car has actually been cheaper than advertised. There's no question that they consume petroleum, yielding a rate that is more similar to an SUV at around 14 or 15 mpg in the city under normal driving conditions. But, the trade off of the exclusivity of the Legendary S4 in a world of Hondas and Hyundai's, and joy of the the unbelievable feeling of quality that only Audi vehicles have is well worth it. On the highway it gets around 21 or 22 mpg, so if your commute is more highway miles where you can row through the gears and get to that 6th gear, you may be able to squeeze a few more mpg's out of it than I could with my short, low speed daily commute and little interstate joy rides. Oil changes are also more costly than in your average car because the legendary 4.2litre V8 engine consumes over 10 quarts of synthetic per drink! The factory only recommends one oil change every 10000 miles but I've been on a schedule closer to 5 to 6,000 miles. I've chosen to run a high quality AMSOIL Audi specific Synthetic that claims to be the best available in the industry. It costs me around $85 bucks for a case of 12, and I pay my mechanic $25-30 bucks to change it for me and install a new filter element. So more costly than your $40 oil change, but this is more than your every day vehicle. And with no mechanical issues and a pretty strong track record of reliability in general, the car hasn't created any unexpected out of the pocket costs either, keeping the cost of ownership down to a minimum. Because the car is a 2005 model (2005.5 technically as it is a B7 series and has the new body change including Audi's recognizable big face front grille) it can now obviously be owned for a fraction of the costs as it did for the original owner who was likely paying over $800 a month for the $56,000 machine. -The car is sold as-is with no warranty, and buyers with zero or low feedback please email first. Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping and/or receiving the car, but I will assist in any way that I can. Cash or Certified Major Bank cashiers check only. Somebody will get an excellent drivers car that truly turns heads at a very nice price. The $16,750 price includes all the extras. Feel free to email with any questions, but please no low-ball offers or funny business. The car is priced to sell... Buy with confidence from a seller with integrity.
