Vehicle Detail

complete body off restoration. all trim & glass removed frame painted with rust-stop black, kyb shocks all around, gas tank claened & sealed. sound deadner on floors & inner panels, heat shield padding under new carpet& under new h/liner new abs trans tunnel. Dash was removed & wasn't salvageable so a new one was made & veneered with oak burlwood along with the center support that holds the radio.New dash cap on top. The seats were originally highback. they were cut down to low when they were being reupholstered . As small as the car is on the inside the lowbacks are much less restrictive as well as giving better all around vision. Seats were done in leather , door & other panels in vinyl. Steering wheel was replaced with a smaller one, the original will be included in sale rubber & weatherstripping that was replaced; W/shield & back glass rubber vent window rubber door w/strip & waist seals 1/4 glass w/strip h/light gaskets tail-lite gaskets & lenses Wheels are from a mkIII with chrome center caps. Tires have nearly 100% tread, but are old & show some minor cracking mechanically the car runs great. Compression was within 3 of 150psi on all six cyls. transmission shifts smooth & tight with no slop or grinding. Brakes were gone through with the master cyl being rebuilt, some wheel cyls & hoses replaced. Stops fine with no pulling. front sway bar was replaced with a larger one. Carbs were cleaned & floats & needle valves replaced. alternator rebuiltAll lights & gauges work as they should. wipers good heater good flashers good the rear defogger does not work. the grid is bad &the glass would have to be replaced with a new one to get it to work. I looked at a few used ones & the grid was shakey on them as well so I decided to just leave it! Bumpers are original & could use rechroming but still look goodmonza exaust sounds great. It has an exaust note that you don't expect to hear coming out of this little car! I'm sure i am forgetting some things. If you have any questions or want specific pics, please ask & I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can. this car starts first time every time & shows no leaks or smoke.CA registration is current & title is clear in my name.
