My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Volvo V70. The pre-99 Volvo S70/V70 are the absolute last of the old reliable Volvo's. From 99 on, Volvo started to rely more on electronics...which fail...alot. I would rate the exterior of this V70 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a gorgeous wagon. It is finished in silver which looks fantastic and shows very well. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find some imperfections associated with normal use. There is no noteworthy damage to report on the exterior of this Volvo. The only bad thing I can say is that the little plastic tab that latches the fuel door is broken. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber. Tread life is on the thin side of average but they should last another year. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Clean examples of these cars are getting harder and harder to find. I would rate the interior of this Volvo V70 to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner also show very well. This V70 has the fairly rare cloth interior...which I perfer. I know most people prefer leather because it is normally associated with luxury...but I actually prefer cloth in a Volvo because of the way it holds you as opposed to the leather which feels like you're sitting "on" it, not "in" it. Anyway, the seats show well throughout the interior and are extremely comfortable. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The power windows (except the right rear), door locks and mirrors all work properly. The climate control is fully automatic and is in proper working condition. It offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR!!! The audio system is original and sounds good. Both front seats are heated. A full set of books and manuals are included, also. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L five cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are great. The suspension feels nice and tight all around. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this wagon with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times. The ABS/Tracs light comes and goes...which is common and is a cheap fix (free-$170 depending on the issue). The check engine light is also on (code P0102 ). I've not seen any drivability issues with the car. Most likely, the mass air meter just needs cleaned. Worst case, it needs replaced...and they are cheap. You can get one right here on eBay for less than $50 and it can be replaced with basic hand tools and a grain of common sense. The engine makes good power and accellerates easily. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints at all. She has a fresh PA safety and emissions inspection good through July of 2014. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Volvo V70. The pre-99 Volvo S70/V70 are the absolute last of the old reliable Volvo's. From 99 on, Volvo started to rely more on electronics...which fail...alot. I would rate the exterior of this V70 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a gorgeous wagon. It is finished in silver which looks fantastic and shows very well. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find some imperfections associated with normal use. There is no noteworthy damage to report on the exterior of this Volvo. The only bad thing I can say is that the little plastic tab that latches the fuel door is broken. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber. Tread life is on the thin side of average but they should last another year. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Clean examples of these cars are getting harder and harder to find.
I would rate the interior of this Volvo V70 to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner also show very well. This V70 has the fairly rare cloth interior...which I perfer. I know most people prefer leather because it is normally associated with luxury...but I actually prefer cloth in a Volvo because of the way it holds you as opposed to the leather which feels like you're sitting "on" it, not "in" it. Anyway, the seats show well throughout the interior and are extremely comfortable. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The power windows (except the right rear), door locks and mirrors all work properly. The climate control is fully automatic and is in proper working condition. It offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR!!! The audio system is original and sounds good. Both front seats are heated. A full set of books and manuals are included, also.
Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L five cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are great. The suspension feels nice and tight all around. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this wagon with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times. The ABS/Tracs light comes and goes...which is common and is a cheap fix (free-$170 depending on the issue). The check engine light is also on (code P0102 ). I've not seen any drivability issues with the car. Most likely, the mass air meter just needs cleaned. Worst case, it needs replaced...and they are cheap. You can get one right here on eBay for less than $50 and it can be replaced with basic hand tools and a grain of common sense. The engine makes good power and accellerates easily. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints at all. She has a fresh PA safety and emissions inspection good through July of 2014. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Non-paying bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. This is not a game. Selling vehicles on eBay with NO RESERVE is very risky...which is why very few sellers do it. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time allowed by our Terms & Conditions, your account will be reported to eBay for possible suspension and you will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
