Vehicle Detail
Unique and rare car is in need of restoration. At one time, we were told that there was only 11 made for a Funeral home in Baltimore Maryland, and only 3 in existence. From the information we were told, this car was altered at the factory as a funeral flower car. Exterior needs a new paint job, the paint on it has nicks, scratches, and blistering. There is rust, which is to be expected on an old car. The car has a 292 Chevy 6 cylinder from a 1969 Chevy truck. Transmission is a 700 r4. Driveshaft is in. 1949 Studebaker suspension, steering, brakes and rear end. Engine ran, but not started in a long time. And should be gone over as part of restoration. Exhaust system custom made for the car. Alternator is one-wire. Radiator is aluminum. Car is lowered. Car is on trailer, due to flat tires. Car will need to be transported on trailer or other device. Floor boards in passenger compartment are fair and show rust and small holes. This should be factored in restoration of vehicle. Trunk bed area is very solid. Windshield on car is cracked. Driver side vent window needs to be replaced. Vacuum wipers are complete. Car has 64,000+ miles, please see picture. This is believed to be the original miles of the car. Car has factory radio with original optional sticker. Car has 2 heater cores; one under dash..one under passenger seat. Car was a Commander Sedan. Car has vent scoops on driver side and passenger side fenders. Arials (antennaes) is retractable. Tailgate is attached to the trunk bed. There is one fender skirt lying in the trunk bed. There is a New York transferable registration card. A bill of sale will be supplied with registration card. This car is now located in Alum Bridge, West Virginia.
