The Heavy Duty package includes the bigger brakes, stronger, fully floated 10.25” axles, and heavier springs from the F-350. This is a used but cared for work truck. It has a pretty much indestructible drivetrain with the 351 Windsor V8, 5-speed manual, and heavy axles. If you need a solid work truck without the expense of a diesel, this is about the best combination you can get. This truck was a trade on a new Powestroke at a local Ford dealership. It has had the same owner for the last 13 years. It has a current PA annual safety inspection good through the end of May, 2014. As you can see in the pictures, the outside of this truck looks good for the age and use. It does not have any big dents or body damage. The expected blemishes and wear is present. The paint has been obviously touched up around the rear wheel wells from some rust prevention. The steel wheels are wrapped in a set of heavy ‘Load Range E’ LT tires with good tread. All the lights and glass are in good condition. The interior has the XL trim vinyl floor and bench seat. The seat is comfortable. It has the usual splitting on the driver’s side and could benefit from a seat cover. The vinyl floor has no holes. The dash and door panels are firmly attached. The factory stereo sounds good. The windows open and close easily. The A/C is ICE COLD. Mechanically, this truck is in good shape. The 351W, 5.8L V8 engine has an excellent and well deserved reputation. It makes lot of power, has easy and inexpensive service, and lasts forever. The engine in this truck is no exception. It fires right up and has a boatload of torque. It makes good oil pressure, temp, and voltage. The 5-speed transmission shifts well. The clutch is a little noisy, but it does not slip. The four-wheel drive works properly. The floor shifter and manual hubs both engage easily. The 4.10 gears give this thing an amazing amount of low end power. The suspension is very firm. The brakes stop the truck well. If you need a truck to haul a trailer, or a load, or you’re looking to build a serious off-road monster, this truck would be great. We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle at retail price from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. Please understand that each vehicle we sell is being sold exactly as we received it (unless otherwise noted in the written description). We always disclose any known faults with the vehicle in our description. However, the description we provide is based solely on our observations of the vehicle during our road test. These vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
Please consider this when you decide if buying from us is something you feel comfortable with. We try to eliminate as much risk as possible for our buyers but cannot offer reconditioned, warrantied vehicles for sale with No Reserve. We are happy to answer any questions from prospective buyers regarding our business or specific vehicles listed for sale and aim to make buying from us as trouble free as possible.
Bidding:
Please read the entire description and view all pictures before placing a bid. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. If you have any questions or concerns that have not been addressed within our listing, feel free to send us an email so that we may address your specific question before placing your bid. Please wait to place your bid until you are completely comfortable with what you're bidding on.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Non-paying bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. This is not a game. Selling vehicles on eBay with NO RESERVE is very risky...which is why very few sellers do it. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time allowed by our Terms & Conditions, your account will be reported to eBay for possible suspension and you will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
