I have an 84 Z-28 for sale. There is over $1200 in the motor alone and over 1000 in other new parts.Around 116,000mi. on car, motor had around 80,000 before upgrades,and now less than 500. the only thing I haven't done to the motor yet is the crank, pistons, water pump or power steering pump. Has TH-400 tranny with under 1 hundred K. It IS a project car. Nearly finished and in decent shape. Just needs a couple of tires ,tabs ,and a battery in order to be road worthy. Its a head turning, fun, and fast car. It will probably need to be trailered or towed either way though due to expired tabs and old tires. Door panels missing and locks do not work. It has working power windows. Some bondo on lower valance and rear drivers quarter. The drivers floor has been patched and might eventually need a floorpan but is perfectly sturdy and rust free. Has new exhaust (single till muffler) with aftermarket 2chamber highflow muffler and dual rectangle cherrybomb tips. Also has new gas tank and sending unit. Satin black finish (which could use a couple more coats), custom painted graphite metallic stock wheels with bfg t/a tires, fronts are alright but rears will need replacing. Bumper and lower valance from an 86. Has new headlights and clear aftermarket turn signals and marker lights . Has rare aftermarket fiberglass hood and rear spoiler. No radio or speakers but wiring is all there. On Jul-02-13 at 10:21:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Motor mods/upgrades so far: Aftermarket highflow aircleaner cover and filter ,hardened steel pushrods, new hydraulic lifters,roller tip rockers, spring kit, comp cam(520 or 530, not sure), Holley 650 cfm carb, Holley contender intake, milled/ported and polished heads, headers(brand unknown), new "doug's headers brand Y pipe, new timing gears and chain, and new alternator and fuel pump.
