SAAB 9-5 SE 3.0t Low 112,168 MILES 200-hp, 3.0-liter V-6 4-speed automatic w/OD This is the top of the line, loaded out 3.0t (3-Liter Turbo) with built-in On-Star system History of car: I PURCHASED this car 2004 with 35,000 miles. I had been searching for this model in black & loaded for some time. The car was CEO owned, and I became aware through Scan West Motor Sports of Seattle, who worked on my other Saabs and had serviced this car since new. It needed a new front bumper & bumper support, new radiator & radiator support and minor shop repairs. I do have records & photos in my file. I had all work professionally done on this car at Fluery Auto. See http://www.fleuryscollision.com/ I purchased the car direct from the owner ‘s Insurance Company. As it was an insurance buy-back to him, WA State requires all vehicles to be marked as “rebuilt” so my clear WA Title notes: WA 05/11/2004 REBUILT. I do have clear title in hand with no liens! I have owned and driven this car without problem since, almost 9 years and 77,000+ miles. I was told by original owner that car was almost $45,000 out the door when new! He ordered almost every option. It has been a great for my work and family, as I am owner, broker & CEO of a local RE Firm. It became a 3rd car for just for work and as I am soon retiring. I no longer need this beautiful car. I had upgraded the car with newer style 3.0 t badging, just out on newer model 9-5’s and added the newer style Aero rims & Aero sport driving wheel. All new oil change, service & new brakes done last month. The car is black with nice Charcoal Gray interior. Note that flash photos can make interior look lighter that it really is, so I included one photo without flash to get the idea of true color. This car has always been professionally serviced. For years at SAAB of Ballard/Seattle & then Scan West & Moe’s SAAB Specialties as noted. http://www.scanwestauto.com/ . I have had a full synthetic oil change every 3,000 miles. I have done all factory belts, hoses, etc. I have had engine fully redone per SAAB recommended service notes & upgrades. I do have receipts & records for the car. Not only is this the top of line model, with On-Star, dual heat zones, all seat heaters, dual coffee holders, sliding arm rest & more… I went to the SAAB Dealer and ordered the Saab Adjustable Wind Deflector for the opening sun roof. I was always getting stopped by other Saab owners and asked where I got it? Adds a touch of style and also really works keeping the inside quiet when driving & sun roof open, or deflect the air as you wish. This car is a well maintained and great looking car with lots of life as many people run these cars well into the hundreds of thousands of miles. . The car is luxury, and should give the next owner many more years of fun & pleasure driving this 9-5 SE Saab. LAST 12 MONTHS: All new OEM Saab Disc Brakes professionally installed. NEW Bosch Alternator; professionally installed & belts. New Long Life Performance Battery (replaced end of 1012) NEW Factory timing chain, valve cover gaskets/seals, Saab timing belts & pulleys NEW Continental 225/55 Extreme Contact Tires (now about 10,000+/- miles on them) & front alignment total cost @ $800.00. High rated all weather radials, smooth ride, long lasting…. really nice driving tires! PAST HISTORY: @ 82,300 miles I noted some oil leakage and took car to dealer. Reading Saab service notes the shop said head gaskets & internal oil cooler needed upgrading/replacements: FIX: I had upper engine professionally all redone. New head gaskets and all new internal oil cooler using GM/Saab upgraded lifetime part. New belts, hoses, flush, etc. Turbo rebuilt. Total cost of over $3,500+. Work done by Moe’s Saab Specialties of Seattle. (ScanWest quote of almost double that amount) All computer lights are working except security alarm system which was disconnected last year. Twice alarm went off on its own at night for a few minutes and then reset. I easily dis-connected the unit in fender well and never hooked it back up. I was going to get unit serviced, which is less than $100.00, but have simply lived without it since and it is included with car. Dual climate controls & seat heaters all around. I have not used air conditioning system so it was noted last time in that it needs a service recharge, which they quoted at $150.00 but have been told you can do it yourself for much less as it uses the new type coolant. Nice CD Stereo system, nice leather & wood dash. Normal wear but overall good car. Not detailed by a dealer as I did not clean or detail to sell. I run K&N Air Filters in all my Saabs ( I have 2 other Saabs for adult kids still in college for more degrees I pay for) for performance & mileage. It does trip engine light as engine thinks there is no filter as they do breath too well. See K&N Performance specs. With K&N Filters & synthetic oils I always get great MPG, 18+/- around town and have had 26–28 on the road… fully loaded with family …not too bad for a full sized sport luxury vehicle. With windows up nice & quiet inside. As a note, this car is not an Aero, but I have added aero options such as wheels & steering wheel, when turbo redone it was slightly boosted, but not to point car lost MPG. I did the video to show it handles nicely, burns no oil, is very solid and is a quiet road car. The V6 Turbo has lots of power & torque. This car has the V6 Internal oil cooler upgrade, same Saab/GM Upgrade Part used in this V6 for the Cadillac. The normal Saab 4 cylinder cars have sludge and PVC engine gas issues, I know because I have owned a Viggen and presently have owned 3 other Saab 9-3 cars from 2000 to 2002. This car is loaded, I was asked for vin and data plate info. I researched when I purchased and it does have the upgraded sports handling suspension from the factory. For you Saab people, the nubers are 47-25-412. I will also post the VIN Decode. This has been a great car and I will be sad to see it go!
