1979 Corvette that I have restored over a period of years. It has a 1980-82 rear body piece installed with the built in spoiler, which I think looks better than the stock body panel. The front body piece was originally a urethane flexible piece; I replaced this with a fiberglass piece and blended the seam between it and the rest of the body work so that it flows together. The paint is new. I added new carpet, with sound/heat shielding below it, the seat belts are new as are the door panels. Instead of cutting the dash for a new stereo, I installed stereo that looks like it is from the 70's but has all new technology, including ipod hookup/aux input. The windshield is new, the rest of the glass is original including the mirrored T-Tops The engine has newer camshaft/timing chain, intake and carburetor tuned by a specialist. MSD 6A digital ignition box and 8.8mm wires. Mallory distributor. New Starter Motor, newer headers, power steering rebuilt. Headlight units rebuilt, Power windows rebuilt. True dual exhaust installed. It has been a fun project, and is great to blast around in on the weekends.
