Vehicle Detail
2000 Ford Ranger Extended Cab XLT 4X4 automatic for sale. The Good: The vehicle runs great. Many of the extras like the cruise control, air conditioning, and radio/CD/Cassette player work great. It is in pretty decent shape for a vehicle 13 years old, and the tires are like new. It has a bed liner and bed cover. The interior is cloth, and is in decent shape.….The Bad….Well, it is an older high mileage vehicle. It has some external scratches, and small amounts of surface rust around the edges. The pictures were taken this morning, and what you see is what you get. There are side steps, but they are rusting. The auto door locks do not work, and the windshield wipers only work in fast (it is a problem with the switch, so an easy fix). There is a small problem with the transmission, but it does not affect normal operation. For some reason, sometimes when you put the vehicle in reverse and back up, there is a delay before the transmission engages when you put it in drive. Once the transmission does engage, the tires chirp a bit, but then everything is fine and the truck drives fine. It has been that way for years, and I just never bothered to have the problem investigated. The rear of the truck sags slightly. I suspect it is just the leaf springs are getting worn. It is barely noticeable, but I wanted to mention it to be thorough in the description. The gas gage is a little sketchy. It does track, but not well, and it is sometimes hard to tell when you are low on gas. There is also a very small inch long crack on the dash. The title is clear, but the person who sold the vehicle to me put on the title that the odometer exceeded mechanical limits. That is obviously not the case, not sure why he put that down, but when I sell it I will have to probably put the same thing. I think that is everything. Realize that this is a used vehicle, and I am selling it as is. If you are local and want to see the truck, message me and you can come look at it and drive it.
