My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very rare 1994 Subrau SVX. The SVX was a radical departure from the "Subaru" people were familiar with. In fact, the MSRP on these cars was around $30,000 in the early 90's so they were as much of a departure in pricing as they were in styling. Imagine a hand full of SVX's sitting on the same lot as rows of Justy's and Loyale's. Even the (then new) Legacy's were still square and underwhelming. Low sales ultimately ended the short life of the SVX. In fact, the SVX was responsible for roughly $75 million in losses for Subaru as a whole. Unfortunately, these cars were brought out way ahead of their time and in one of the worst economical times for Subaru. It's a shame because these are actually fantastic automobiles. They are quick (even by todays standards), comfortable and capable of providing year 'round smiles thanks to Subaru AWD. I buy every nice SVX I come across...because there will come a time (probably sooner than later) when these cars will vanish all together and we'll just talk about the last time we saw one. When was the last time you saw a nice, clean Subaru XT? ..or even one of the rare Loyale turbo's? They just don't exist. I would rate the exterior of this SVX to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a gorgeous vehicle. It has been under the same caring ownership since 2000 when it had just 42k miles and it shows. Finished in Bordeaux Red Pearl, this SVX is one of the nicest I've seen in a while. As with any older vehicle, it isn't perfect. The one side emblem is broken and there is a short scrape directly under the fuel filler door. Otherwise, the exterior is virtually flawless considering the age and mileage of this vehicle. Please take your time to view each of the close up photos carefully. You'd be hard pressed to find even a rock chip on the nose. The aircraft inspired glass canopy is fully intact and crystal clear. All of the lenses are intact as well. The alloy wheels show in nearly new condition. The tires are reaching the end of their life and should be replaced soon. Pride in ownership shows throughout this vehicle. I would rate the interior of this SVX to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout the interior as well. The leather and suede door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner also show well. The carpet is clean throughout. A full set of floor mats is included. There are three things that you should be aware of that should be addressed. First, the sunroof does not open. I can hear the motor going but it does not open. Second, the climate control fan seems to not blow any air. The system powers up and appears to work properly but the fan does not seem to work. It could be the blower motor itself. It could be the control unit...or I could be doing something wrong. Lastly, the shifter lock appears to be broken. When you press the brake pedal, it does not move the little pin to let you move the shifter out of park. The button is broken so the override has to be done manually. None of these three things are the end of the world...just things you may want to consider before you buy. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seat work properly. The leather trimmed seats are in remarkable condition and show minimal wear for their age. The CD stereo system is original and sounds great. This SVX comes with two keys and the original owners manual. Mechanically, this Subaru SVX appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.3L flat six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly with a beautiful exhaust note. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this coupe with no issues. Her road manners are excellent. Thanks to the powerful engine and full time AWD, she feels solid and confident in any situation. The engine keeps proper temperature at all times. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. These are excellent touring automobiles. They are very well appointed inside and are incredibly comfortable on long drives. They are very easy and forgiving to drive. The 231hp engine and full time AWD provides year 'round smiles and confidence in any weather. Very few people know what these are and I get looks and compliments everywhere I drive this car. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very rare 1994 Subrau SVX. The SVX was a radical departure from the "Subaru" people were familiar with. In fact, the MSRP on these cars was around $30,000 in the early 90's so they were as much of a departure in pricing as they were in styling. Imagine a hand full of SVX's sitting on the same lot as rows of Justy's and Loyale's. Even the (then new) Legacy's were still square and underwhelming. Low sales ultimately ended the short life of the SVX. In fact, the SVX was responsible for roughly $75 million in losses for Subaru as a whole. Unfortunately, these cars were brought out way ahead of their time and in one of the worst economical times for Subaru. It's a shame because these are actually fantastic automobiles. They are quick (even by todays standards), comfortable and capable of providing year 'round smiles thanks to Subaru AWD. I buy every nice SVX I come across...because there will come a time (probably sooner than later) when these cars will vanish all together and we'll just talk about the last time we saw one. When was the last time you saw a nice, clean Subaru XT? ..or even one of the rare Loyale turbo's? They just don't exist.
I would rate the exterior of this SVX to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a gorgeous vehicle. It has been under the same caring ownership since 2000 when it had just 42k miles and it shows. Finished in Bordeaux Red Pearl, this SVX is one of the nicest I've seen in a while. As with any older vehicle, it isn't perfect. The one side emblem is broken and there is a short scrape directly under the fuel filler door. Otherwise, the exterior is virtually flawless considering the age and mileage of this vehicle. Please take your time to view each of the close up photos carefully. You'd be hard pressed to find even a rock chip on the nose. The aircraft inspired glass canopy is fully intact and crystal clear. All of the lenses are intact as well. The alloy wheels show in nearly new condition. The tires are reaching the end of their life and should be replaced soon. Pride in ownership shows throughout this vehicle.
I would rate the interior of this SVX to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout the interior as well. The leather and suede door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner also show well. The carpet is clean throughout. A full set of floor mats is included. There are three things that you should be aware of that should be addressed. First, the sunroof does not open. I can hear the motor going but it does not open. Second, the climate control fan seems to not blow any air. The system powers up and appears to work properly but the fan does not seem to work. It could be the blower motor itself. It could be the control unit...or I could be doing something wrong. Lastly, the shifter lock appears to be broken. When you press the brake pedal, it does not move the little pin to let you move the shifter out of park. The button is broken so the override has to be done manually. None of these three things are the end of the world...just things you may want to consider before you buy. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seat work properly. The leather trimmed seats are in remarkable condition and show minimal wear for their age. The CD stereo system is original and sounds great. This SVX comes with two keys and the original owners manual.
Mechanically, this Subaru SVX appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.3L flat six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly with a beautiful exhaust note. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this coupe with no issues. Her road manners are excellent. Thanks to the powerful engine and full time AWD, she feels solid and confident in any situation. The engine keeps proper temperature at all times. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. These are excellent touring automobiles. They are very well appointed inside and are incredibly comfortable on long drives. They are very easy and forgiving to drive. The 231hp engine and full time AWD provides year 'round smiles and confidence in any weather. Very few people know what these are and I get looks and compliments everywhere I drive this car. We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. This is not a game. Selling vehicles on eBay with NO RESERVE is very risky...which is why very few sellers do it. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time allowed by our Terms & Conditions, your account will be reported to eBay for possible suspension and you will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
