Vehicle Detail

1984 Fiat Spider Pininfarina Azzura, 56,XXX miles, 5-Speed, life-long Texas car. I purchased from a colleague many years ago who’d put about 1,100 miles on it in the 10 years since she’d moved from Dallas to El Paso. It had a little over 51K then. Very good condition, low mileage tires, shocks, mechanicals New plugs, wires, rotor cap and distributor flywheel, injector connectors/clamps, multi-electrical switch; injectors cleaned / refurbished. Newly upholstered seats, door panels and new trunk carpet boards. Dash and consol have typical cracking. Cocoa carpet replaced with deep black carpet kit some years ago (Carpet mats always covering footwell areas), including package deck. Tan Convertible top replaced several years ago with black Hartz cloth, now showing wear (see photos). Fair re-paint from original blue to slightly deeper blue with a hint of silver flake (paint code will be supplied with car). Original turbo wheels were powder coated more of a dove grey, then I hand-painted the black for original look. Runs very well. Recently took the car to a fellow in Albuquerque known for his tuning and adjustment skills on Maserati cars. He also removed / cleaned out the gas tank (from so much sitting), replaced fuel pump and filters. Chrome roll-bar bumpers could use re-chroming to be outstanding. Dealer installed, functioning A/C system, but disconnected electrical this year as units plastic case needs replaced / repaired. Do have the original steering wheel that will go with the car at sale. Several additional photos available upon email request. On Jul-13-13 at 11:45:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Description update: You may have noticed this '84 does not have the accordion type, through glass side view mirrors. In my opinion they didn't stay together well, and, well, they were just odd. I wanted a look somewhat like the '69 Fiat I had while stationed in Italy. So, I removed them and glass, had glass cut to replace and installed for my more nostalgic look. If interested, I do still have the original glass (in very good condition), and, I have the original, drooping side view mirrors I can provide with the car. I ordered the side view mirrors currently on the car from Europe and installed them. I believe they are aftermarket and cannot verify if exact duplicate to older model style mirror. But they worked for me.
