This 52k mile beauty has been stripped down to bear frame, and undergone a very tedious, and extensive restoration. The Frame has been sand blasted and re-galvanized, with all of the brackets, arms, and bolts sand blasted all re-zinced. The engine, and transmission have been just undergone a major service, with all components checked, the engine just received a new timing job, gaskets replaced. New spark plugs, belts, filters, and ALL hoses are new including power steering, coolant, Also all gas tank breather lines are new. The transmission and clutch were checked, and the clutch system was fully flushed. Almost endless hours, have been invested into the suspension, all bushings have been checked and replaced as necessary, Also a Set of SPAX Adjustable coil-overs where installed, The brake system was also addressed with new pads all around. along with a full brake fluid flush, The cooling system was serviced and cleaned both externally, and internally, including the Radiator, charge cooler radiator, and condenser. Overall more than 90 labor hours have been put into the job, at a cost of over $11,900 dollars!! This car already had the Catalytic converter, and back pressure valve delete installed, along with a atmospheric dump super sequential blow off valve. This beautiful mid-engined masterpiece is powered by an extremely powerful 2.2L turbocharged 4-cylinder, and mated to a smooth shifting 5-speed manual transmission! Outside the Lotus Yellow Paint shines like new, however there's a minor area that shows signs of previews paintwork. Nothing major. The vehicle is accident-free. Most likely a surface scratched that needed to be fixed. This car is sitting pretty on SPAX Fully adjustable Coil-overs, and Factory OZ Alloy wheels wrapped in like new Yokohama rubber! Also this beauty features a mid-mounted wing exclusive only to the Esprit S4, aftermarket Dual exhaust with chrome tips, and much more! With the exception of the exhaust, and rubber everything on the exterior is all original factory condition, however given the age and mileage, expect the outside to be rated at a 8/10. The interior is Clean however just like the paint, it is all 100% original with the exception of the aftermarket sound system. however because of the age please expect it to be at 8/10. This car has been enjoyed and cruised, and the 52k miles reflect it. This Lotus is priced to move considering the massive service just performed, and would make an avid Lotus lover very happy!
