On Jul-10-13 at 14:23:04 PDT, seller added the following information: 1978 Ford Ranger F-250 Super Cab, Lariat Interior, Long Bed, Trailer Special. SUPER CONDITION! Two gas tanks, 159,000 original miles. 460 cu in V-8, RUNS GREAT! Automatic Transmission. Two-tone green, body in VERY GOOD condition. One small dent on passenger door, and a few spots of rust starting to show. See the close-ups of the rust and small dent. Some rust in the bed, above and below drivers window and on the right rear back panel. All the glass is perfect, not even a crack. Seats are good, headliner all intact, looks good, back seat of Super Cab all in good to great condition. Has a tool box on side, and two special lights/lamps on both sides of truck, see photos. Locking hubs. New Tires and brakes within the last 5,000 miles. I don't know much about this truck, (I don't even know how to open the hood yet) As I just received this truck from a family member. I am aware they paid $9,600.00 for it just two years ago and drove it everyday to work for those two years. I drove it here and it has LOTS of power. No problems that I know of. I have used it enough to know it gets about 12 mpg. I am very available to answer all questions. I'll do my best to help however I can. It is located in the Pacific Northwest, South Bend, WA, closest port is Aberdeen, WA. On Jul-10-13 at 14:28:35 PDT, seller added the following information: My mistake, it has only 115,900 miles. I previously put 159,000 miles I was wrong. See photo of mileage/odometer. On Jul-10-13 at 16:24:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Yes, it is a 4X4. (I am new at selling vehicles on eBay.) I'll keep adding information as I go along and answer peoples emails. Also, the previous owner NEVER hauled wood, rock, gravel, sand or anything else that was heavy. He used it to go Elk and Deer hunting about 5 or 6 times. Otherwise, like I mentioned, he drove it back and forth to work. He put about 18,000 miles on it, maybe 20,000 in two years and only had brakes done, wheel bearings at that time, and tires. No problems and no break downs. Any other questions? On Jul-11-13 at 07:41:11 PDT, seller added the following information: More Information! Engine has brand new Header Exhaust and a large Four Barrel Carburetor. See Photos of Engine just added. (There is also a lockable hood latch under the dash.) More to come! Keep coming back, keep asking questions! Oh yea... This Truck has a very low RESERVE and is almost there. Someone is going to get the truck from this sale! Good Luck & Good Bidding! On Jul-11-13 at 07:47:30 PDT, seller added the following information: Yes, that window that has the SUPER CAB sticker on it, is the window that has the very close up photos of the rust. You can hardly see the small rust spots from this photo, that is why I took some very close-up shots of it, so you can see the detail. This window is on the drivers side, behind the drivers side window. Thanks for asking! On Jul-11-13 at 14:22:48 PDT, seller added the following information: I have received a few emails asking about the 460 cu in engine, if it was original or not. I went and spoke with the people I bought the truck from and they are absolutely certain this truck came with this 460 cu in engine. They purchased this truck from the original owners who used it to tow a horse trailer and haul hay and feed for their horse. I am satisfied that this is indeed the orginal engine. Perhaps it was an option, or it came stock on the TRAILER SPECIAL, which this truck is. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS! On Jul-15-13 at 08:15:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is what one eBay Ford expert had to say about this truck. I suggest you do your homework to verify this information. Email me and let me know how I can help. You have a special limited build F-250 Supercab. It came with a 460 and one ton running gear (that is Dana 60 front axle and I think a Dana 70 rear axle). Just FYI. Pat.On Jul-15-13 at 10:51:26 PDT, seller added the following information: YOU-TUBE Video is up! There also seems to be a lot of questions and experts who are telling me this is a SUPER COBRA or COBRA JET 460 engine. I would like it if some of you experts can help me figure this out. I have been told there are numbers? On the heads or the block? Please help! THANKS!
