" I am listing the car for a friend "My retired friend has his 1933 Chevy Eagle two door sedan for sale. The car is completely rust free, no rust ever. All the glass has been replaced, along with new window channels and seals. The interior has been redone 10 yrs. ago, and has had little wear since that time. The seats are clean and comfortable. The body was striped of it's original paint and repainted in the same time frame. The paint shines very nice. The bumpers are straight and the chrome looks great , the grille is near perfect, the radiator cap is near perfect as well as the hood ornament. The wheels have recently been powder coated and 5 new Firestone wide whitewall tires mounted. The brakes are newly replaced and adjusted correctly at the same time the tires were replaced. The car stops great, the steering has been rebuilt along with the shock absorbers . The motor starts right up and runs smooth with no misfiring. There are no oil, or coolant leaks that I could see. The clutch and pressure plate have also been replaced. The car has a new 6 volt battery. The lights work, inside and out, the horn works, the chrome headlights are near perfect condition. This old Chevy is a very attractive and stylish looking car, a real pleasure to observe and enjoy.Remember to ask any questions before the auctions end. I took the car for a drive today, the car drives extremely well, lot's of get up and go. The old girl rides smooth, no rattles, the car steers excellent, the trans. is quiet in all the gears and shifts great., no clutch chatter. The operating tempearure is right around 180 degrees. The motor starts on the first turn at operating temp, or cold starts. There are no oil leaks, or drips under the car, or on the floor where the car is parked. There are a lot of extras that the owner says will turn loose of in the sale, these are hard to find replacement parts that the new owner would like to have. the car dosen't need any new parts at this time, but it's nice to have any extras you can get. The car also comes with a very nice cover and manuals + the owners manual. The gas gauge doesn't work, when you turn the key on, the gas hand goes to the full position, maybe bad ground? The speedo. and all other gauges work correct. This a nery nice car, undercarriage, inside and on the outside. Thanks for all the questions and interest in this auction.
