I have for sale a 1972 Pontiac Grandville convertible. This is the top of the line for Pontiac from 1971-1975. The best two years own are 1971-1972. They are almost identical and have the infamous front grill that changed in 73. Number for production were lower for the first two years 71 being the lowest then 72. This car was an original California car and sat in a private museum in Washington state. This had come out of a private estate years ago when I purchased it. This car is an original 55751 mile car. It appears to have on repaint that shows very well needing a buff job. This car is untouched and run like a dream. It has the 455 C.I./325 horse power with 3 speed Auto. Rear is 3:08 which makes it get up and move. Power disc breaks. AM/FM, Remote mirrors, Tilt Wheel and factory A/C that still blows cold. Power window with rally gauge packet. There has been no repainting of the engine compartment or dolling up with armor all and shiny liquids. This is the way I found it. I took this car out on a small road trip putting a 100 plus miles on it and she runs and drives nice with no issues. The wheels have not been repainted or touched up and the carpet and interior is all orig. This is your chance to own a very high end car of its era that out shined Chevy. The dash has no cracks and the steering wheel and wood grain is excellent. The door panels are also in great shape with no wear. The top is original and will need to be replaced the back glass separated from the material. The top is a bit sluggish I had replaced a few parts like relay and one cable. I also replaced the swivels on the second top bow which I broke when putting the top down. The top is 40 plus years old. The drivers side seat seam has split like most do of this era it is vinyl. Orig carpet is great with no major wear mark. The windows go up and down but need to be cleaned and lubed to be smother You can drive this car just like this with not problem that I can see. Most of these cars do not come with A/C and some of these options and they are asking outrageous $$$$. I am liquidating some of my cars and concentrating on a select few.
