This truck just came into us this week. Please note that the odometer on this truck shows est. 110,000 miles, but the true miles according to Autocheck is 197,590 miles so we are assuming that someone has changed the odometer cluster. Sometimes they stop working and you can cheaply replace the cluster if the speedometer is not working. As opposed to "rebuilding" the speedometer cluster, it's a lot cheaper to just buy a "used" cluster from the wrecking yard or a used parts store. We don't know the real story as to why the cluster was "replaced", so we are Announcing what we know and the true miles are reported as 197,590. It is our opinion that the cluster (meaning the speedometer) probably stopped working. Generally if someone is just going to tamper with the odometer miles, they would make the miles a lot lower than 110,000. No one has tried to hide the fact that the Speedometer Cluster has been replaced [the only other choice would be to rebuild the Speedo Cluster which would be a bit expensive.] All of the Dealer service records show the "correct miles".This Dakota is a "sweet looking truck" with the 3" lift and the Chrome Wheels. The paint and body are excellent minus one stain on the drivers side quarter panel. Not a real big deal. If it bothers you, it can be painted very easily and very inexpensive (est.$400) minus the disclaimers that we've made like a stained seat; a broken center console/arm rest; and a little paint damage on the driver side quarter panel. Nothing major. The Truck Looks fantastic! If I was looking at the truck from 15 feet away, I'd think that I was looking at a near new truck. It looks that good. This is a CLEAN TITLE vehicle, not a salvage title. The truck has been completely inspected including the engine which passed smog the first time thru which means the Catalytic Converters are still good and the motor meets California's strict clean emissions standards, meaning that the engine is solid and strong. This motor still has a lot of life remaining if it is maintained according to the manufacturer's specifications, just like the second owner has done. We have the second owners service records which were all done either at the Dodge dealer or at Pep Boys; the transmission shifts smooth; Modified K&N Air Induction and Exhaust System for more power and better fuel efficiency along with a nice tone to the Exhaust; Lifted about 3" (estim); Gorgeous Premium Chrome Wheels with large A/T tires 275-70-R17 BF GOODRICH (4 matching tires) with est. 50% remaining tread. Interior has the Message Center overhead that includes the garage door opener; 6 Disc CD in dash; Cruise Control on the steering wheel; Tinted Windows; Spray in Bed Liner. This truck will sell fast because we are selling it CHEAP; our RESERVE is LOW; and it has always been a CALIFORNIA TRUCK, meaning "there is NO rust". We ARE SELLING THIS TRUCK ON EBAY because the truck doesn't fit in with the category of vehicles that we normally sell. So we either need to take it to the DEALERS AUCTION for sale or offer it for sale to a PRIVATE PARTY in hopes that we will have a happy customer and get a "referral" to a friend or neighbor.If it goes to the Dealer Auction, we don't get any "new referrals". You can see by the photo's that this is a FANTASTIC truck ; GREAT for a first time buyer or even for "street re-sellers ".
