This car has only 95,750 miles and it has clearly been taken care of by the previous owner. The Continental was Lincoln’s mid-size luxury car, smaller than the Town Car, but no less luxurious. As you can see in the pictures, this is a nice looking car. The white paint and black cloth landau top contrast nicely and are complimented by some chrome accents. There are a few minor blemishes, but overall, this car is in Above Average condition for the age. The alloy wheels look good and are wrapped in a matching set of tires with deep tread. All the lights and glass are in good shape. The interior of this car is in excellent condition. The dark blue leather is comfortable and shows well. The power driver’s seat adjusts easily and does not have any holes or tears. The carpets and headliner look nice. The dash and door panels are free of cracks and firmly attached. The digital instrument cluster is clear, bright, and has no dead spots. The power windows, locks, and mirrors all work with the touch of a button. The A/C is not cold. The fans and heater work well. This Continental drives down the highway nice and smooth. It is exactly what I expect from an older Lincoln. Smooth power from the engine, easy steering, and a suspension that soaks up the bumps. The V6 engine fires right up and makes good oil pressure. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The air-ride suspension has been upgraded to a conventional coil spring set-up. The air-ride was known to become quite troublesome as these cars aged. The coil spring conversion eliminates the potential for costly repairs. The coil springs are smooth and comfortable. They soak up bumps well. The brakes stop as they should. This is a good looking, good driving car. It is easy to see when a car like this has been taken care of by a respectful owner. This one was. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Non-paying bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. This is not a game. Selling vehicles on eBay with NO RESERVE is very risky...which is why very few sellers do it. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time allowed by our Terms & Conditions, your account will be reported to eBay for possible suspension and you will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
