My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of each listing carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. The Jeep Grand Cherokee offers the best value in a used SUV, in my opinion. They have an excellent reputation for being tough, reliable and low maintainence. This specific Grand Cherokee is an excellent example of what happens when a well built vehicle is properly cared for. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking Grand Cherokee. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find small scratches, scuffs, blemishes and other signs of wear associated with normal use. This Jeep would easily pass for having half the miles it does. I buy and sell literally dozens of these each year and I am very familiar with how they wear...I've had them ranging from 80k miles to over 300k miles. This one shows very well for its age. Pride in ownership is obvious everywhere you look. There is one small spot of body rust at the right rear fender. The doors and hatch look clean. The underside shows very well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The rear glass is privacy tinted and looks good. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of matching rubber with better than average tread all around. I would rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this Jeep. The door panels are clean and show a minor amount of normal wear. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The headliner is loose just above the drivers seat which is also common. There is one rip across one of the seams of the drivers seat...which is also common. The seats show well and are comfortable. This is a fairly well optioned Laredo. Leather seats are not very common with Laredo trim. Even more uncommon is DUAL power seats...both of which are working properly. The power windows, locks and mirrors also work properly. The stereo is the original Infinity Gold cassette/CD premium sound. As with many Infinity head units, it no longer turns on...this is also common. These can be found used or you can just replace it with an aftermarket CD player. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Overall, this Jeep is in very good condition for its age. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels nice and tight, not worn and loose like many of these...which shows that its previous owner kept up on maintainence. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Jeep with no issues. Out on the road, she feels solid and well sorted. The engine makes good power and keeps good temperature/oil pressure. This Jeep has the more desirable Selec-Trac part time 4WD system which is tested and working properly. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. At highway speeds, you can hear a little noise in the front end...which is also common with age and not a concern at this point. This Jeep comes as a fresh NEW CAR TRADE from the Sutliff Auto Group in Harrisburg, PA. It has a current PA safety and emissions inspection so she's ready to go. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of each listing carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4. The Jeep Grand Cherokee offers the best value in a used SUV, in my opinion. They have an excellent reputation for being tough, reliable and low maintainence. This specific Grand Cherokee is an excellent example of what happens when a well built vehicle is properly cared for. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking Grand Cherokee. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find small scratches, scuffs, blemishes and other signs of wear associated with normal use. This Jeep would easily pass for having half the miles it does. I buy and sell literally dozens of these each year and I am very familiar with how they wear...I've had them ranging from 80k miles to over 300k miles. This one shows very well for its age. Pride in ownership is obvious everywhere you look. There is one small spot of body rust at the right rear fender. The doors and hatch look clean. The underside shows very well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The rear glass is privacy tinted and looks good. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of matching rubber with better than average tread all around.
I would rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this Jeep. The door panels are clean and show a minor amount of normal wear. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The headliner is loose just above the drivers seat which is also common. There is one rip across one of the seams of the drivers seat...which is also common. The seats show well and are comfortable. This is a fairly well optioned Laredo. Leather seats are not very common with Laredo trim. Even more uncommon is DUAL power seats...both of which are working properly. The power windows, locks and mirrors also work properly. The stereo is the original Infinity Gold cassette/CD premium sound. As with many Infinity head units, it no longer turns on...this is also common. These can be found used or you can just replace it with an aftermarket CD player. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Overall, this Jeep is in very good condition for its age.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels nice and tight, not worn and loose like many of these...which shows that its previous owner kept up on maintainence. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Jeep with no issues. Out on the road, she feels solid and well sorted. The engine makes good power and keeps good temperature/oil pressure. This Jeep has the more desirable Selec-Trac part time 4WD system which is tested and working properly. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. At highway speeds, you can hear a little noise in the front end...which is also common with age and not a concern at this point. This Jeep comes as a fresh NEW CAR TRADE from the Sutliff Auto Group in Harrisburg, PA. It has a current PA safety and emissions inspection so she's ready to go. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Non-paying bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. This is not a game. Selling vehicles on eBay with NO RESERVE is very risky...which is why very few sellers do it. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time allowed by our Terms & Conditions, your account will be reported to eBay for possible suspension and you will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
