I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1994 Ford F-150 XL. The Ford F-Series trucks are among the best selling in the world and have a well deserved reputation as being reliable and built to last. This truck is a perfect example. This is a fairly basic truck and would make a perfect work truck. I would rate the exterior of this F-150 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this truck. As you can see, this truck does show some age. There is minor to average rust showing on each of the fenders. There is also a dent on the right side of the truck bed. Nothing I saw was structural...just normal "old truck" stuff. The left hinge on the tail gate is broken. It still opens and closes but you need to make sure it is straight when you close it. There is a small crack in the windshield. The tires show average tread all around. The under side looks pretty solid. There is a bed liner to protect the bed from hard use. Again, she isn't pretty but would make a great work truck. I would rate the interior of this truck to also be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The interior is pretty basic as you'd expect to find in a work truck. The floor is rubber so it cleans easily. The seat is the standard vynil bench. It has the normal rip at the drivers side which has been taped over but it still sits well. The radio works fine. The heater works fine. This truck is A/C equipped but it does not blow cold. It has a sliding rear window, too. Again, nothing too fancy...just a basic work truck interior... Mechanically, this truck appears to be in good running and driving condition. The big 300ci inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. This is one of my favorite engines. I've personally seen these trucks with over 300k miles on them. A friend of mine used to work for a construction company that had a few of these in their fleet with nearly 500k on the original engine and manual trans with simply routine service. The inline six with manual transmission is nearly indestructible. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Out on the road, she feels solid and well sorted. The suspension feels tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this truck with no issues. The engine makes good power and keeps proper temperature and oil pressure at al times. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are smooth as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This truck has a newer PA safety and emissions inspection so she is good to go. If you're looking for a reliable, low maintainence truck...this is exactly what you want. These engines are built to work. In fact, this engine was used in school busses and dump trucks for years. You won't pull a house down or anything but you can run these things hard year after year after year and they'll just keep taking it. No Chevy or Dodge half ton can come close to one of these. We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle at retail price from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. Please understand that each vehicle we sell is being sold exactly as we received it (unless otherwise noted in the written description). We always disclose any known faults with the vehicle in our description. However, the description we provide is based solely on our observations of the vehicle during our road test. These vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
Please consider this when you decide if buying from us is something you feel comfortable with. We try to eliminate as much risk as possible for our buyers but cannot offer reconditioned, warrantied vehicles for sale with No Reserve. We are happy to answer any questions from prospective buyers regarding our business or specific vehicles listed for sale and aim to make buying from us as trouble free as possible.
Bidding:
Please read the entire description and view all pictures before placing a bid. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. If you have any questions or concerns that have not been addressed within our listing, feel free to send us an email so that we may address your specific question before placing your bid. Please wait to place your bid until you are completely comfortable with what you're bidding on.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Non-paying bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. This is not a game. Selling vehicles on eBay with NO RESERVE is very risky...which is why very few sellers do it. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time allowed by our Terms & Conditions, your account will be reported to eBay for possible suspension and you will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
