For auction here we have a custom built ATV ~ This has the frame , plastics & components of a 1986 LT230 Quad Sport but with a Yamaha 200 4 stroke motor out of a 3 wheeler . The 4 wheeler does run strong & super reliable ,this has a motor that is a 5 speed with no reverse & also has a foot clutch ..... you shift up into first gear & slowly release the shifter kinda like a regular hand clutch but once you are in first gear you shift without using the clutch .... the foot clutch is only used from going from neutral to 1st gear ~ This quad can be ridden as is but has a few issues & flaws that I will list below ..... Plastics has a crack that has been repaired on front right side of fender , overall fair condition but does have wear which includes skuffs , scratches etc .... Seat has small rip about a inch on the corner , not really even noticeable . Front brakes don't work , from what I see is that is has no fluid & the container for the brake fluid has a stripped screw so I can't fill it , not sure if this is the issue but it could be ** does have working back brakes & newer pads , also on the left side of the handlebars there is a brake lever that doesn't move & a compression release lever ... they really have no purpose that I know of or was probably used with the original Suzuki kick start motor before it was swapped out with the Yamaha . The rope cord at times won't catch until you get to the last foot or so of the rope ... sometimes it don't but other times it will , still starts up but possible it may need adjusted or re - wound . The fuel lever I noticed when I left it on a few times it leaked a little out of the overflow . Not all of the time but it did this very rarely so I always kept the fuel lever on the off position when not riding , never has really been a issues but just wanted to mention Has small dent on front left side A- Arm ... likely bumped up against a rock or something , doesn't effect anything , frame & everything is very straight & sturdy . Tires are very worn all the way around but they all hold air well . front tires about 40 % & rear about 20 % ... has a few dings on the rims too Overall a for the age of this unit it's in fair condition but not mint or even close to it , super reliable motor ..... left this set all winter & pulled the choke & started the 2nd pull , can be ridden as is but should have the front brakes fixed or put fluid in the reservoir , strong running motor I would estimate goes about 50 mph ... Lights work both headlight & tail light ... cool little machine to go trail riding with , handles great & light weight ~ Upon auction end please contact me to make arrangements to pick up ~ do to this being a older 1986 quad they had no titles at the time issued so this come with no title but I can provide a bill of sale if needed .
