1971 Datsun 510 Wagon This is a 1971 Datsun 510 wagon that was parked in 1999 and has been sitting until recently. The car has an L18 1.8L in it and a 5spd manual transmission. It runs very well and the transmission shifts smoothly. The car will need a master cylinder to be safely driven. The brakes work but the pedal goes to the floor. It may just need a pressure bleeder to push all the old fluid out from sitting so long. The wheels are the original 13in and have a brand new set of tires installed. The paint on the car shines but a quick repaint would make this car absolutely beautiful! The hood looks like someone sanded it and could use a repaint. The car doesn't have any rust issues, all of the panels are solid. It does have some minor surface here and there, you can see it on the front valance in the pictures. The body is straight and everything is there. This car also has the extremely rare European tail lights in it. As you can see in the pictures the rear RH side window is broken but they are readily available online and on craigslist. I can also assist you on finding spare parts if needed. I have a total of 6 510's and TONS of spare parts! The interior of the car is all there and original. The drivers seat cover is torn from age, the rest are all intact. the drivers seat foam is in great condition, all you'd need is to have it recovered. The dash pad only has one single crack in it, most are destroyed from age. The cluster is also the extremely rare red needle gauges and even has a trip odometer. These are even more rare than the European tail lights. All of the lights and signals work. The title of the car is clean and from here in California. The registration has been put on a non-operational status since it has not been used. If you are not familiar with what that is its when a vehicle is not being used you put it on a non-op so it does not incur any registration penalties. Changing the registration back from Non-op is the same as registering a normal car. This 510 is located here in Chico, Ca which is about 1.5hrs north of Sacramento. I can also store the vehicle inside until your shipping company is able to pick it up but the vehicle must be paid for in full within 3 days of close.
