I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description and review our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of each listing carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Audi A4 2.8L Quattro sedan. I would rate the exterior of this A4 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking Audi. It is finished in black over tan interior with professionally tinted windows which looks great. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find evidence of wear associated with daily use. On this specific vehicle, there are numerous chips on the hood as well as small scratches, scuffs and a light scrape on the left rear fender. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a newer matching set of tires. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. This is a nice older Audi that looks to have been well cared for by her previous owner. I would rate the interior of this Audi A4 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The seam on the drivers seat cushion has come apart, which is common. Otherwise, the seats are comfortable and show well. The dash and headliner show well. The wood trim shows well throughout the interior. As with nearly every older A4, the center arm rest cover is broken/missing. Both front seats are heated. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof are all in proper working condition. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows cold, too. The stereo system is the original Audi/BOSE audio with stereo and cassette up front as well as a CD changer in the rear. The audio system is also working properly and sounds great. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this A4. Mechanically, this Audi appears to be in good running and driving condition. The reliable 2.8L V6 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes good power. Thanks to Audi's legendary Quattro all wheel drive, her handling is excellent and accelleration is effortless. The airbag light stays on and the check engine light is on for the upstream oxygen sensor (bank2). There are no drivability issues associated with this code but you'll most likely need to replace the one oxygen sensor at some point. The five speed tiptronic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. These are excellent automobiles that offer great performance, respectable fuel economy, excellent reliability and can take on nearly anything nature can throw at them. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description and review our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of each listing carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Audi A4 2.8L Quattro sedan. I would rate the exterior of this A4 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking Audi. It is finished in black over tan interior with professionally tinted windows which looks great. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find evidence of wear associated with daily use. On this specific vehicle, there are numerous chips on the hood as well as small scratches, scuffs and a light scrape on the left rear fender. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a newer matching set of tires. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. This is a nice older Audi that looks to have been well cared for by her previous owner.
I would rate the interior of this Audi A4 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The seam on the drivers seat cushion has come apart, which is common. Otherwise, the seats are comfortable and show well. The dash and headliner show well. The wood trim shows well throughout the interior. As with nearly every older A4, the center arm rest cover is broken/missing. Both front seats are heated. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof are all in proper working condition. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows cold, too. The stereo system is the original Audi/BOSE audio with stereo and cassette up front as well as a CD changer in the rear. The audio system is also working properly and sounds great. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this A4.
Mechanically, this Audi appears to be in good running and driving condition. The reliable 2.8L V6 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes good power. Thanks to Audi's legendary Quattro all wheel drive, her handling is excellent and accelleration is effortless. The airbag light stays on and the check engine light is on for the upstream oxygen sensor (bank2). There are no drivability issues associated with this code but you'll most likely need to replace the one oxygen sensor at some point. The five speed tiptronic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. These are excellent automobiles that offer great performance, respectable fuel economy, excellent reliability and can take on nearly anything nature can throw at them. I've owned several personally and sold dozens of these cars. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Non-paying bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. This is not a game. Selling vehicles on eBay with NO RESERVE is very risky...which is why very few sellers do it. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time allowed by our Terms & Conditions, your account will be reported to eBay for possible suspension and you will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
