I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of each listing carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with the desirable Street Appearance Package. The Police Interceptor is a beefed up version of the already reliable Crown Victoria which features heavy duty suspension, better engine cooling and skid plates under the vehicle. These make fantastic vehicles to own and drive if you can get your hands on a good one. In fact, my daily driver is an 07 Police Interceptor. They drive great, get decent fuel economy and are virtually indestructible. I would rate the exterior of this Crown Victoria to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. It is finished in dark green over tan and looks great. As with most older Fords, the paint is showing oxidization on the hood, roof and trunk lid. The only noteworthy damage to report is a small spot on the drivers front fender where the paint has been cracked and is showing some minor surface rust. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The chrome wheel covers are all present and show well. The tires are a matching set with good tread all around. It is most likely that this Crown Victoria was used by a Fire Department which would explain the low miles and good condition. There is no way a Police Patrol Car or even a Detective's Interceptor would have low miles like this. My 07 and my 05 Interceptors both have more miles than this one. I would rate the interior of this Crown Victoria to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this car has definitely not seen heavy use. The door panels are all clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The seats also show very well. This Police Interceptor has had a center console added which further suggests that it has not seen Police use. The left rear window does not seem to work. The other windows and locks work properly. The original radio has been upgraded to a CD player which sounds good. The climate control system appears to be fully functional. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too! The trunk is spacious and clean. The dash and headliner both show very well. The standard issue work light up above the rearview mirror still works properly. Mechanically, this Crown Victoria appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels good. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. On very rough surfaces, you can feel the slightest bit of wear in the front rubber bushings...but it is minor and I'm just being picky because I know these vehicles well. Her road manners are excellent. She handles corners much better than you'd expect thanks to the performance suspension. The engine keeps perfect temperature and oil pressure. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she cruises nice and straight with no complaints. This Crown Victoria has a current PA inspection and is a fresh NEW CAR TRADE from Lawrence Chevrolet. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of each listing carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with the desirable Street Appearance Package. The Police Interceptor is a beefed up version of the already reliable Crown Victoria which features heavy duty suspension, better engine cooling and skid plates under the vehicle. These make fantastic vehicles to own and drive if you can get your hands on a good one. In fact, my daily driver is an 07 Police Interceptor. They drive great, get decent fuel economy and are virtually indestructible. I would rate the exterior of this Crown Victoria to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. It is finished in dark green over tan and looks great. As with most older Fords, the paint is showing oxidization on the hood, roof and trunk lid. The only noteworthy damage to report is a small spot on the drivers front fender where the paint has been cracked and is showing some minor surface rust. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The chrome wheel covers are all present and show well. The tires are a matching set with good tread all around. It is most likely that this Crown Victoria was used by a Fire Department which would explain the low miles and good condition. There is no way a Police Patrol Car or even a Detective's Interceptor would have low miles like this. My 07 and my 05 Interceptors both have more miles than this one.
I would rate the interior of this Crown Victoria to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this car has definitely not seen heavy use. The door panels are all clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The seats also show very well. This Police Interceptor has had a center console added which further suggests that it has not seen Police use. The left rear window does not seem to work. The other windows and locks work properly. The original radio has been upgraded to a CD player which sounds good. The climate control system appears to be fully functional. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too! The trunk is spacious and clean. The dash and headliner both show very well. The standard issue work light up above the rearview mirror still works properly.
Mechanically, this Crown Victoria appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels good. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. On very rough surfaces, you can feel the slightest bit of wear in the front rubber bushings...but it is minor and I'm just being picky because I know these vehicles well. Her road manners are excellent. She handles corners much better than you'd expect thanks to the performance suspension. The engine keeps perfect temperature and oil pressure. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she cruises nice and straight with no complaints. This Crown Victoria has a current PA inspection and is a fresh NEW CAR TRADE from Lawrence Chevrolet. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
