This car was bought new at the VW store in Bryan, Texas where it was just traded back in for a new one last week. I was there getting my VW serviced so I had time to look it over real well and liked it so much I went to the dealer auction to buy it. These pictures were taken exactly how it was traded in, before any cleaning whatsoever. It's what I call taking pictures of them in their work clothes on. The pictures should answer any questions about condition but what they won't tell you is how well this JETTA runs and drives. It starts right up with a touch of they key. It has a nice smooth idle and runs excellent. The transmission goes smoothly through all the gears, it easily kicks down under acceleration. I drove the car on a 75 mile trip today in 104 degree TEXAS heat & the cold A/C kept it very comfortable & the fuel gauge barely moved! These pictures were taken immediately upon arriving at my shop & the heat gauge never rose above where it is in the pictures. This car has had some modifications that I assume were made to increase fuel mileage. The muffler at the rear has been removed as can be seen in the picture. The exhaust is not really much louder than factory but you can now hear the turbo through the exhaust. I believe the turbo has been modified because when the car is cold started it sounds like the car has an exhaust leak for a few minutes and then goes away. But after having the car checked at the muffler shop, but no leaks or evidence of any problems were found. It seems that the turbo has been modified & that the waste gate is opening until it warms up and closes. The car is located at 1602 s. market in hearne, Texas 77859 & is available for inspection. This car was bought new at the VW store in Bryan, Texas where it was just traded back in for a new one last week. I was there getting my VW serviced so I had time to look it over real well and liked it so much I went to the dealer auction to buy it.
These pictures were taken exactly how it was traded in, before any cleaning whatsoever. It's what I call taking pictures of them in their work clothes on.
The pictures should answer any questions about condition but what they won't tell you is how well this JETTA runs and drives. It starts right up with a touch of they key. It has a nice smooth idle and runs excellent. The transmission goes smoothly through all the gears, it easily kicks down under acceleration. I drove the car on a 75 mile trip today in 104 degree TEXAS heat & the cold A/C kept it very comfortable & the fuel gauge barely moved! These pictures were taken immediately upon arriving at my shop & the heat gauge never rose above where it is in the pictures.
This car has had some modifications that I assume were made to increase fuel mileage. The muffler at the rear has been removed as can be seen in the picture. The exhaust is not really much louder than factory but you can now hear the turbo through the exhaust. I believe the turbo has been modified because when the car is cold started it sounds like the car has an exhaust leak for a few minutes and then goes away. But after having the car checked at the muffler shop, but no leaks or evidence of any problems were found. It seems that the turbo has been modified & that the waste gate is opening until it warms up and closes.
