1947 Packard Custom Super Clipper Limousine with Partition Delivered new March 18, 1947 in Oakland, California. Spent nearly its entire life in California in dry protection. 4 owners from new. Original numbers matching 356 straight 8 engine that runs smooth. Quiet manual 3 speed transmission with working overdrive that is very rare in a limousine. Well preserved original interior except rear seat and headliner professionally done using correct materials. Nice occasional seats, foot rests, chauffeur alarm with very nice operational glass divider. One repaint years ago that is excellent and the body is laser straight. Dry and exceptionally preserved undercarriage with no corrosion. Tires are older Firestone wide white walls that are still in very good condition. CCCA Full Classic with 148 inch wheelbase. A wonderful 87 year old Packard expert states that there are at the most 15 of these divider window, long wheelbase cars in existence. He has done a 40 year study on remaining Packard's between 1934-47. He has been willing to speak with someone who is seriously interested. 76,679 original miles.
