This is the best of the best. Nothing does it all as well as the K/RS, arguably the finest sport-tourer for high-speed two-up travel. It excels in performance, reliability, comfort, beauty (in the eye of this beholder), and ABS-enhanced linked-braking safety. Your all-day ride is a pleasure with the optional BMW “comfort seat,” heated hand grips, and Z-Technik windscreen. Plus, you custom fit it to your preferences with adjustable seat height, windscreen height and angle, hand control reach, foot pegs, levers, etc. Not ridden since full service completed by Adventure BMW at 34,172 miles. Original pacific blue metallic with no scratches or cracks because no drops or accidents. Below are refinements of my responses so all have the benefit of the same information:Reserve is significantly below AMA Black Book wholesale, which does not account for the $800 side bags, comfort seat, or other options included with the bike. I may even drop reserve as it gets close (if allowed) but I have no plans about how to or for how much to sell it beyond the end of the auction. After the auction, I will reassess my position. The ABS has always functioned perfectly, as has everything else. This is a low miles bike with up-to-date dealer maintenance and in spectacular condition. No perceivable wear on seat, handgrips, or any other bits. Bike also has safety light system: front and rear signal lights function as running lights when not signaling. The last full service included an "annual service." I have no idea what that entails but it cost me $342 in labor. Additional cost labor items include: change gearbox oil, change rear drive oil, change front/rear brake fluid incl. ABS circuit, and change clutch fluid. I had just changed motor oil, so that was not part of this service. To the buyer, I will include a copy of the service record.
