History: Twenty year old restoration with original black license plates. Well engineered by master craftsman. I inherited the truck in 2004 and have driven it about 20 miles per month ever since to keep it limber. It starts instantly, runs strong and sounds like a Model A. Has about 2000 miles on the restoration. Mechanical: 2000cc Pinto engine (100 HP), '39 transmission with Zephyr gears, 3.78 rear end, '40 hydraulic brakes, F1 steering, 12 volt. Firestone black wall tires (August 2011), Interstate battery (August, 2010). Carburetor, fuel pump, gas shut-off valve, distributor and water pump have been replaced on my watch. Exterior: All steel body. No rust. Amateur paint job with some orange peel on the bed sides and a thin spot on the hood. Some nicks and scratches gathered over the past twenty years. Still looks good. Excellent glass. Driver's window regulator needs help when rolling up. Right rear fender has a few blisters that don't show in picture - I believe these are associated with a weld that was done to extend a previously bobbed fender. Interior: Excellent original style seats, door panels and floor mat. Headliner needs work. Gauges and speedometer work (original ammeter is not hooked up). Horn works, electric wipers don't.
