This car was recently aquired from the previous owner who had owned this vehicle for the past 25 years. This car was garaged in the early 1990s with a burnt valve problem. The owner started it repair it himself, which never actually happened, and it remained in that status until it was offered to us for sale. This Coupe will need the following: front floor pans repaired or replaced. Some reassembly of the interior door panels, which are complete but not currently installed as well as the front seat. The interior is in better than average condition. You will also see some rust on the leading edge of the hood and also on the front fenders which is repairable. Also in the pictures you will see there is rust beginning on the lower driver's side rocker panel. Overall, this DeVille presents itself well with no signs of previous collision damage, very straight quater panels which is unusual for a DeVille of this vintage. The bumpers are very straight as well as the grill. This would certainly be able to be turned into a better than average driver with a controllable amount of money and effort. These early '60s Coupe DeVilles are becoming very hard to find, especially in this original condition. It does have the rare auto dimmer option, as demonstrated in the photo of the top of the dashboard. It would also be a wonderful canadate for a concourse restoration, if this is your desire.
